QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 28 2017, 09:19 AM) refer your statement's payment due date. it should be on 18 July 2017. pay by this date. Let's say if the statement is 18th July 2017. The Cashback should be posted on 1st July. If i pay 28th June 2017, then cashback only posted on 1st July, i should be paying extra. What do bank do with the extra money? It will be deducted for next month's outstanding?

I thought my statement date should be perfect. Statement date 27th, Cash back date 1st, then i pay after 1st. So that i still can pay for the amount - cash back for the previous month? I wonder if i understand correctly.

Ur cash back not yet posted in ur statement, that's why u need to pay full 1st.

HLB allows payment amount after deducting cash back with no interest. However, I find it difficult as I have to manually calculate it. Since I will continue using next month, let it flow naturally then.

Our statement date is the same by the way. Why pay so early when you can pay in mid of the month? In this way, you are not fully enjoying 20-day free interest period.

As my PTPTN and Aeon installment is due like first week of the following month. So i pay all of them together by end of the month.

So i pay all of them together by end of the month. I usually pay all my cards around the same time, about 1-2 weeks after statement is out. All my card's statement date will be beginning/end of the month so following this schedule, I should not miss any payments.
