QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 28 2017, 09:19 AM) Let's say if the statement is 18th July 2017. The Cashback should be posted on 1st July. If i pay 28th June 2017, then cashback only posted on 1st July, i should be paying extra. What do bank do with the extra money? It will be deducted for next month's outstanding? |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 28 2017, 09:29 AM) yes, deduct from next month's outstanding. I thought my statement date should be perfect. since your statement date is earlier than cashback date, you basically "enjoy" the cashback 1 month late why dont you change statement date to earlier date like 8th of the month? then the payment due date is 29th, which is near your pay day and the statement will capture the monthly cashback as well. Statement date 27th, Cash back date 1st, then i pay after 1st. So that i still can pay for the amount - cash back for the previous month? I wonder if i understand correctly. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 28 2017, 11:01 AM) HLB allows payment amount after deducting cash back with no interest. However, I find it difficult as I have to manually calculate it. Since I will continue using next month, let it flow naturally then. Hi fruitie, thank you for your input. I have paid the amount before cashback. It's my first time using MACH, thank you for assisting on my query above. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 28 2017, 11:12 AM) Our statement date is the same by the way. Yes. I am afraid I busy and forget which end up pay late. As my PTPTN and Aeon installment is due like first week of the following month. So i pay all of them together by end of the month. Why pay so early when you can pay in mid of the month? In this way, you are not fully enjoying 20-day free interest period. |

QUOTE(realitec @ Jun 28 2017, 08:17 AM) Dear All, as my statement date is 27th June 2017. However, i dont see any cash back from my spending. Anybody can confirm if the cash back should be credited on next month? Please refer to the picture below. Thank you. QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 28 2017, 11:19 AM) After using some time, you will automatically remember the dates to pay for your cards. Yes, i use my microsoft outlook to remind me to pay my ptptn and aeon too. I use Microsoft Outlook in office to remind me. BTW from the quote above, does it means those classified as Dining and Travel will 100% get cash back? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 3 2017, 08:26 AM) Temporary credit limit increase is up to the bank's discretion. It is subject to management's approval. Noted. Do you think it is highly like chance to get approval for apply for credit limit increase without any increment on my salary? Just for a month, to purchase maybe electronic device to get the cash back 1% Online and 2% Tech. Hoping to get an iPhone 8 in coming October/November if it released in Malaysia.Usually it will increase for emergency cases like hospitalization, stuck in overseas and etc. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 3 2017, 09:11 AM) I have never tried that way before. I always try when I have salary increment. Noted. This is my second month. Gonna try to apply for increase limit after 6 months then. Thanks. For new cards, better apply 6 months later and let's say if your spending in between is high, just tell them you have high spending and hope they could consider to increase your limit. |
