any NEW mod for wira guys?

I am driving my dad's wira. 1992 Sedan 1.5 Auto
I encounter some problem such as:
1) I need to press the gas pedal very hard (almost to floor) only the car can accelerate smoothly.
2) if i put D when queuing traffic light then car will shake terriblely. Swift to N then this problem won't occurrd.
3) Beside that the F/C is high. From cheras to damansara can consume up to rm10 pertol. Compare to my frined satria he maybe use around rm 6 petrol.
4) Mileage meter seems not functioning well. Sometime can works sometime can't. Really ignoring.

The quality really of mine dad wira really fuk up.
Roof rust, signal spoiled, aircon replaced, etc.
Besides that, my dad always use fully synthetic oil to protect the engine.
Now, the pick up of this car sucks.

Any cheap solution to save this dying car?

shacking maybe your engine mounting... or might the idle not stable..
milage meter?? i mean the speedometer?
jumping is it?
need to change the cable...

the millaege meter which is use to calculate the distance u travel. sometime functioning sometime doesnt. very troublesome becasue cannot calculate the total distance i can travel with full tank.

Regarding the shaking problem, my 1.6xli is experincing it too. I changed the throttle body and the problem still exists just that no sei foh while driving slow. I think it's engine mounting, will send it to repair this week. Have to change gasket as water flows backward to tangki. Cham will cost me RM600+

Anyway who got 14 rims selling cheap cheap here, 14" ? Budget RM200-300, cheap bumper for 1.6 (preferbly dark green), steel rims also can.

personally i used 6*9 sound stream rear speaker
6.5 + tweter + a crossfire n a 4 channel amp wif a pioneer cd player

how bout u all? anything or suggestion to improve the quality of the sound? any additional thing to add on..

Now I focus on mod for performance and FC

Tmr gonna install Iridium sparkplugs, Hotbits Extractor and K&N drop-in air filter to my car. Hope it won't dissapoint me.

Later will add Zenden front strut bar, front lower arm bar and rear, voltage stabilizer, fuel saver, Kayaba RS/GAB abs then go for 15"/16" rims

wow, do share how's the peformance after installing the hotbits extractor.

plan to install 4.2.1 extractor later on. still no decide which brand.

I install 4.2.1 custom made punya a year back. Forgot which shop liao, somewhere in SS2. Costed me about RM4xx. Better Acceleration now !

hm...i m planning to sell my wira tru... 98' 1.5gl. btw should consider as 97' becoz it's fetch a 97'engine. what is the value rite now?

What fuel saver also no use becozz it wont cover the money u spent on repair when the car gets 3 year old and above. If u wanna keep your money from flowing like water, just sell it ASAP. Personally, having a Proton is pain in my life.

Hmmm....not exactly, now my fuel consumption increased till 470km/h, last time can't even reach 400

Anyway, after change K&N filter, hotbits extractor and performance spark plugs, power now....can feel the difference

How much it cost recon a wira 1.6XLi...

1. Engine lub leaks overhaul needed
2. Gearbox oil leaks (advised change whole gearbox)
3. Repaint whole body metallic silver, rust begin spread
