Wira is indeed more spacious compared to Vios/City or even Altis.
But the rear suspension needs attention. Cos with 3 adults at the back, it's already sinking.

use higher & stiffer spring
but when u driving alone
u will feel bumpy ohmy.gif

what's the different of C98 and C99???

C99 chasis is the stiffest also closes to MMC's Lancer chasis as it's double welded and double layer thumbup.gif

May I know how much you spend for soundproofing. Do you DIY or send it to workshop. What kind of stuff you used, vibramat. Very interested la. I heard that autofoam also is good for improving  the NVH.
My 1.3 speed above 100 and the engine sound, tyre sound so loud and need to increase speaker volume. What a headache.
*
actually they are many types of sound damping
auto foam is for strengthen your car chassis. thus can reduce some NVH as well. Well planing to do it, but not now

as for sound damping u can use either dynamat extreme or new things i discover brown bread... guys not roti ya
info refer here http://www.silentpcreview.com/modules.php?...artid=32&page=1

currently i am using insulfex & biutmen strip. the cost are cheaper

p/s might be out of wira discussion. oops.gif

QUOTE(CrazyRock @ Feb 17 2006, 03:49 AM)
I am driving my dad's wira. 1992 Sedan 1.5 Auto
I encounter some problem such as:
1) I need to press the gas pedal very hard (almost to floor) only the car can accelerate smoothly.
2) if i put D when queuing traffic light then car will shake terriblely. Swift to N then this problem won't occurrd.
3) Beside that the F/C is high. From cheras to damansara can consume up to rm10 pertol. Compare to my frined satria he maybe use around rm 6 petrol.
4) Mileage meter seems not functioning well. Sometime can works sometime can't. Really ignoring.

The quality really of mine dad wira really fuk up.
Roof rust, signal spoiled, aircon replaced, etc.
Besides that, my dad always use fully synthetic oil to protect the engine.
Now, the pick up of this car sucks.

Any cheap solution to save this dying car?
*
shacking maybe your engine mounting... or might the idle not stable..
milage meter?? i mean the speedometer?
jumping is it?
need to change the cable...
