It's only animated in the Video Player.

if u just added yr video, let the phone process and convert the thumbnail. it will take some time cz yr phone will convert the video into smaller reso and lower frame rate videos.

the cell standby thingy wont affect anything.. it is just a bug showing wrong value.. actual battery consumption still the same. i really suggest u to check on any rogue app installed that is draining battery. it wont show in yr battery settings thou.

Just got back my SIII from LowYat Service Center last night. They've changed my receiver, speaker and reflashed my firmware too. Everything in just 1.5 working days. Now I could hear clearly and comfortably ~

all i have was this screenshot though.. normal operation with facebook, twitter , some browsing.. i don't play games too..

Not really good. I think you have installed some apps which are sucking juice from your phone. Look at mine below.

ya man.. i was thinking... since s3 was at 2100 mah , it should perform better than iphone. (i was iphone user previous) . but u think i should reformat it and do it again ? but i just download those standard apps from play store.. mine is everything stock..

my battery life is exactly like yours.
During weekdays i don't play games, I don't use mobile data, 95% of the time i use it only for SMS-ing.
But yet my battery can't even last through a day (i have all unnecessary settings off)

I know it's an app that's sucking up all my battery because i left it on airplane mode one night, but yet i woke up after 8 hours with 8% battery gone

both of u try install juice defender and see whether is it the cell radio sucking battery for data.. but if the juice defender affects yr normal sync for apps then just uninstall it or change the settings.

i try juice defender b4.. its the same.. no difference.. i put balanced mode..

Check your Gmail, Sync and other settings like email, weather app etc. If you leave it to check every 1 hour or so then it sucks up battery like mad. For me, all mail sync are manual and I only allow Sync to sync my Google contacts list. As for Playstore, I set to sync on WiFi only.

It just a launcher, it won't affecting your apps, except some widget special design for touchwiz not working, like that accuweather. Go Launcher not bad - lot customization, if you want pure ICS feel, then Nova Launcher Prime is great.

Nothing to fixed in battery, as nothing wrong on it. Check your widget or whatever background running that hunt for battery life. Those notification and auto updates hunting power.

basically Android doesn't has all the limitations.

I don't have any mobile data so i off EVERYTHING that requires internet.
I'm very very sure that my settings are optimum for maximum battery life.
I hardly turn on my wifi, and i turn off wifi when i am not using it.

I suspect that the app that may be sucking up my battery = Beautiful Widgets.
I have the clock+weather widget set up on my homescreen.
I set the update interval to 1HOUR. I didn't think it was the cause since i dont have mobile data.

Now i have tweaked the update interval to manually, gonna try and see if it makes a difference.
Probably gonna have to wait till night time when i go to bed to try it.

Will report back with the results tomorrow
