Let me tell you a story from my personal experience

When Ameera Residences was launched in SS2, like many, I was wowed by the show unit, the finishing, and the whole lifestyle that they were offering. I still remember people were saying, "Are you crazy? RM290psf in SS2 facing low cost flat? Good luck to your investment!". So because of this, I put off from purchasing a unit.

It was only in 2009, I revisited the development and that time they had a mock unit of the unsold types, and when I checked it out, I was impressed with the actual workmanship, and the layout, so I decided to bite the bullet, at a premium of 50k as the price has increased.

Fast forward to present day, did I make the right choice? Totally 100%. Apart from the capital appreciation, Ameera is still one of their best products yet, considering the size and design, and the purchase price, you really get value, the value that SDB had created. Yes, they had the usual teething issues of delay of defect rectification, and some other issues, but at the end of the day, SDB creates a lifestyle, and the hardware (ie, the building design, the product) that is different from the rest.

So if you think you want to own the product for own stay but at a premium price, I'd say it will be worth it because it's what you will be going home to every day. And for that reason, going to home Ameera was a joy because from the moment you enter the guardhouse through to the classy lift lobby, to your corridor which is sleek and timeless, you will truly feel you have found a home.

Yes, wotp is indeed a ideal place to stay if one like the condo living.
If it wasn't for the traffic concern, I would have bought it during impromptu visit to their show unit last time. Love at first sight
Now still in dilemma whether to get it or not

To me, I like their layout, long balcony and of course the park.
I hope the park will be well maintained in future coz this is the main selling point for this condo but it can be challenging.
I also prefer to have less facilities in order to reduce the maintenance cost. Less facilities might not appeal to some ppl but sometimes if too many facilities but under utilized then it's a waste. But not sure about the cost to maintain the big park. Maybe landscaping lagi mahal?

If you really like it, i suggest you to decide it fast as It's one of its kind in Klangvalley, hardly cant find big park greenery high rise concept (Cloudtree does have a park next to the clubhouse, but not directly infront of balcony)

I was regretted not to take up the drop off units early this year when the psf still low at 480-500psf, 720Kplus for the 1694sf, and now you can get the same size with that price.
And now almost new props (medium-high end) launch with the same psf as WOTP.
Im getting the CT with same psf (480psf) as WOTP but cheaper in total price due to smaller size of 1269sf/1550sf,
hope for the best that developer wil deliver the same outcome as promised.

Get the WOTP if you have the bullet! dont miss da boat~

I have checked out the CT and Vina too. The CT does look nice in design and come with smaller unit which is more affordable compared to WOTP. But I guess the SDB brand attracts me more given the same psf but of course with higher absolute price.
The maintenance fee will be hefty for 16xx sqft compared to smaller unit if they increase the fee in future. 

It's true that the psf for new condo launched recently in cheras increase significantly. And this makes the WOTP really worth the money if one can afford bcoz of the SDB branding

OT: what's the status for CT now? Last time saw in the thread that some ppl mentioned the developer has not gotten ap yet?
Yup finger crossed that the developer can deliver as what have been promised.

BTW, can WOTP owner clarify if you need to pay monthly rental for the car park ? The SA told me no need but I still have doubt if he bluff me.

Carpark rental? nope la, free 2 carpark for owners ma, why stil ned to pay rental for carpark. It might happens to those commercial land/development..

Yea definitely higher cost of maintenance, differ of Rm128 ((WOTP1694X0.30) - (CT1269X0.30)) (including sinking funds).  Higher due to the larger size, or maybe the cost of maintainin the Park..  CT also has a park to be maintained. so the lower costs definitely more affordable. Target to different owners.
Yea no doubt the SDB brand is reputable, so I just take my bet/risk on CT Developer. Pray! hope they can deliver muchmuch much better than 1 sentul & Alam puri.

According to SA, launch by this month. brochures and stuff ready soon and now can apply Loan. But mostly buyers wil get all confirmed info durin launch before apply loan and sign S&P.

That sounds ridiculous to me too but some sifus here said the car park rental is quite common in other SDB property. It's like rm35 per car park lot per month I think . Then someone said will check with developer regarding that. Not sure if this has been sorted out

rm35 is the carpark maintenance fee.(calculate according the carpark size) not rental. it's ok for me. mostly tandem.
(fair mah... buy more carparks pay more maintenance lor)

block C owner carpark still will remain park at block C. just some carparks are closer to block A.
a lot miss understood.. mostly everyone tot block c owner need to park at block A. actually not.

Ok, so the rm35 is the car park maintenance fee. I presume that is not included in the rm0.275/sqft maintenance fee right?

I personally feel that is a bit ridiculous to fork out extra bucks for the car park every month. The SA told me no monthly rental for car park which is true in this case coz that's maintenance fee not rental... I'll check again with SA.
