Does that mean there is a huge growth potential from Cheras all the way to Semenyih? If it comes true, we will see more and more big infrastructure and industrial projects come up in this rapid growth region, ensuring good returns on property investment, economic activity should pick up in this region, increasing the demand for properties-both residential and commercial......another good news for WOTP owners. In fact, we are already witnessing a construction boom and an increase in population in this region.

Doomdoom kor...your statement " as long as developer paid enough for him, he will come to give some bullshit talk to support the projects" is a bit strong...like implying HCS as a person with no ethic at all. How well you know him?

HCS, is a property researcher, map-maker that mainly designed for property investing and an author of several great books...he is in business for more than 20 years and have a large following. Personally I don't know him but I have heard a lot about him, mostly positive.

No matter how smart an investor is, sometime we have to listen to the right experts for recommendations and info.
Of course, you shouldn't blindly take advice from these experts, ultimately you still need to do your homework and make your own decision and take responsibility for it.

Oh yes, one of his services include speaking engagement, of course you need to pay for his services, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

In the Edge...week July 28 - Aug 3 2014 copy, has 2 articles that I think may interest people who read this tread. First article is the cover story on the hot spots along MRT Line 2 " Unlocking the value of densely populated neighbourhoods". There are a few experts giving their views, not surprisingly, Ho Chin Soon is one of them.
WOTP will certainly benefit from MRT Line 2, if it materializes...the residents of WOTP will then have easy access to two MRT lines.

The other article is on SDB plans RM895 million development in Singapore. This really surprises me as I thought the property market in Singapore is really bad with the cooling measures...bubble bursting and all the negative news...this is very brave action.
But the fact is SDB projects are doing very well, with 90% take up rate for 2 of its 3 completed properties in Singapore...that's not all...SDB stock has gained 35% so far this year, outperforming many of the big cap property players...according to the Edge.

You are right, the design of the building is simple and with good weather and the right number of workers, their work can go much faster. Furthermore, 2 blocks of the buildings are not that high, Block B 17, Block C 15 ...only Block A is high with 33.
The most difficult part of the construction could be the foundation because WOTP is an earthquake resistant building, well.... this part of the construction had completed.
I believe SDB most likely can meet the timeline of end 2015.

Good decision to go for Wangsa Maju......is a great location and a coming property hotspot....so many new developments there...you have a lot of choices to choose. Wangsa Maju is practically next to Kl city with top notch infrastructure...highways, LRT station, malls, international schools, hospitals, commercial developments are all nearby.

Anybody have any update on WOTP?

I know two person who did that...they bought the property next door and knock 2 props into one. This is one answer to lack of space when family expand and they don't want to move to a new area. One turned two semi D into a bungalow and the other, two medium size apartments into a penthouse like property. I think merging two townhouses into one works well too.
It could be a popular strategy to turn two into one, however, is not neccessary your combined property value is suddenly worth double. Of course, you can turn the property back into two when you want to sell or downsize in the future.

If you buy 2 Block C units and turn into one, you will have 6 rooms...more than the penthouse lor....are you thinking of doing that?

Sure...it will bring wealth to every Windows On The Park residents. According to feng shui again...."Windows" are the eyes of our home, they represent a clear view of opportunities and also our view out in the world.....but residents must make sure our "Windows" are clean, tidy and no cracks (sure no cracks, earthquarke resistant ma..), otherwise our future will be clouded a bit lor... so..residents must cooperate to keep "Windows" very clean....ok?
