I think they made a great choice...WOTP has it all...lush greenery combined with resort-like atmosphere is a delight to retirees. Facilities are marvelous...an enormous lap pool. a swanky gym macam on hill side, 3 separate parks, 800 metres jogging path, a big lawn, 2 indoor badminton courts, artistic landscape...plus a few sustainable benefits that comes with this development will make a pleasant stay for the residents.

QUOTE(calapia @ Aug 22 2014, 01:34 PM) thanks bro. i sent them a msg via facebook and got reply pretty fast. good customer service. they even manage to find all my details too. Somehow they paid to the bank but could be the transfer takes time. i ll scan and email them my bank slip so they could check with the bank. One key sign of good customer service is they don't leave their customers in limbo.

QUOTE(HELLO HELLO @ Sep 11 2014, 10:15 AM) Thanks Hellokor, this map look like there is good growth potential in the area. More schools, hopefully there is going to be one internatinal school nearby, more accessibility and the mix development for residential and commercial will make BTHO a more self sufficient township that will offer better living environment for residents. The big plot of land for the future mix development is exciting, if is done properly, it can really boost the growth of the area, both economically and socially. So, investors in the area can expect higher appreciation of their properties?

QUOTE(HELLO HELLO @ Sep 14 2014, 10:16 AM) Sdb development got button free lift? No need press button. card scanning can send you to your floor macam mk seni? not sure abt button free lift, but I am more interested in whether there is dedicated lift for each unit that the SDB manager mentioned in this astro awani interview...it was not mentioned to me by the SA http://youtu.be/Tt0JAFj3FKg

QUOTE(maverickzack @ Sep 14 2014, 01:11 PM) How does it make sense dedicated lift for each 'unit' there's so few units for each floor.. Probably he just mean dedicated floor instead. That auto select floor from a card scan sound good, that's convenient. I hope they use those speedier and reliable lifts. I agreed, it doesn't make sense, will seek clarification the next time I see SA. To side track a bit, still on lift but you would not get in WOTP, is an auto glass lift for cars in Singapore apartment.....if you got time you may want to read on.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-25...thouse-pad.html

The lady behind SDB success, Ms Teh Lip Kim...an interview in person by Astro Awani...if interested watch video... http://english.astroawani.com/videos/show/...ndominiums-1649She seem to be committed to quality and building long term relationship with customers...many claim it was Ms Teh insistence on quality that led to the success of SDB. Do you agree?

QUOTE(calvin989898 @ Sep 19 2014, 02:01 PM) I think grill is better too. No need to clean and wipe. Who knows after many years the glass will be still intact. It's quite dangerous if have children.. I think there are many ideas of how a balcony railing should be...depending on the concept of the development, it can be modern or a classic style of railing....for WOTP with nature and greenery concept, I personally think a metal railing is more suited.

wow...it looks like we are in some serious discussion on balcony railings...and I love it...is an exchange of knowledge rather than an argument...keep it up guys!
The other thing which may of interest for discussion is whether WOTP should have LED lighting for the common area , including car park areas...there are many benefits ...saving from electricity cost, eco friendly, durable etc...

QUOTE(usjhk @ Sep 19 2014, 06:27 PM) Is WOTP a GBI certified project? I don't think WOTP go for a GBI certification, instead SDB engaged a Singapore consultant to provide an objective view of how sustainable is WOTP as a green development....want more detail, you can read on... http://www.pomeroystudio.sg/uploads/news/2...EN~PROJECT1.pdf

QUOTE(maverickzack @ Sep 19 2014, 06:14 PM) Oh definitely.. SDB should put it into consideration..LED its the future. Ya..let us hope SDB will put some serious thought on this since WOTP is suppose to be a green development. A friend, who is a committee of a JMB of a condo that had decided to changed all lighting in the common area into LED, told me that they have managed to save substantial amount in term of energy billing...and some of the savings are use for organising activities for the benefit of residents. Some info on the benefits of LED lighting...if you are interested... http://www.ledluxor.com/top-10-benefits-of-led-lightinghttp://youtu.be/CilFgENEVicThis post has been edited by aberdeen: Sep 19 2014, 08:32 PM

QUOTE(ahmai2332 @ Sep 22 2014, 04:41 PM) Seem like Block A & C can complete before October next year. At this speed, I don't think there is any problem for SDB to deliver all the 3 blocks A,B,C together...Block B only 17 storey...not very high. Sidetrack a bit, have you seen the speed of Usain Bolt? If interested, watch video... http://youtu.be/3nbjhpcZ9_g

QUOTE(HELLO HELLO @ Sep 22 2014, 06:27 PM) block C maybe can be done around oct-nov next year... block A susah sikit.. maybe around next year dec onward... overall progress block A is much faster than block C. just block A sibeh more higher take longer time to reach to the top. I guess is acceptable if need to slow down a bit to do a good job and deliver a quality product at the finish line, and what we don't want is a job done haphazardly just to finish in time....for example like this runner... http://youtu.be/es9rTuUb1-whahaha...just want to add some fun...

QUOTE(maverickzack @ Sep 22 2014, 08:13 PM) I think the Block A and C should no problem meeting the deadline. Probably is more on the landscape and common area. As they already mentioned A and C will be ready year end 2015. B mid 2016. Looking at the speed now, by year end of this year the entire building structure should be ready minus the interior part.. I think they just want to build in a margin of safety by stating a six mths gap between block A, C and block B....but I have a gut feeling that all will be delivered at the same time. If SDB can deliver earlier than the stated timeline for block B, then they will gain a lot of respect from block B owners.
