Anyone bought their NP9150/9170 from xoticPC and upgraded keyboard to the Steelseries chiclet style keyboard?

Does Illegear provide a similar upgrade?

Get a Cooler Master Notepall U3 for RM80 or less. 3 movable fans for you to position as you like.

I've been doing that since day 1. Average temp in idle about 45'c (lid closed, non aircond room). And temperature during gaming pretty similar, lid open or closed.

I don't have recommendation on cooler as I'm not using any cooler biggrin.gif

is 45c your hdd temp ? My CPU idles at 65c in the UK and about 67c here (no aircond). Will give it a try today with the lid closed. Annoyingly the display drivers have been crashing every few hours since I got back regardless of what I'm doing. rclxub.gif

sorry. 45'c is the temperature of graphics card. overall laptop temperature in idle is around 46-50'c in non aircond room.

the capabilities of a laptop to generate a FHD quality video to a FHD TV is depends on how strong is your GPU.

Therefore, you have to check your GPU specifications in order to know it can generates FHD TRU VGA transmission or not.

For example, the transmission of Nvidia GTX 670M

Maximum Digital Resolutions: 2560 x 1600
Maximum VGA Resolutions: 2048x1536

While Nvidia 8400M GS

Maximum VGA Resolutions: 1920x1080

So... yeah, if you think you GPU is better then this 8400M GS, then you definitely can run it in a FHD display.

it goes to custom first and then delivered to your doorstep.
take note that the shipping charges from xoticpc to malaysia can fetch more than RM 1K.

On the site, the price is US $249 to deliver to Malaysia and then there'll be additional charges?? Anyone here has any experience with ordering from xoticpc?
