updated stress test. MAX temp 71 celcius after 3 hours and 50 mins. and drop to 41 celcius right after i stop the test.

yes. just tried few minutes of BF3 with latest beta driver. average fps is 50 and temp is around 73c

diablo 3 for 2 hours.average fps around 90 and temp around 86c blink.gif

fps is around the same with 7970m but the temp is definitely cooler than mine

worth to invest better thermal paste so IC Diamond should be fine which i am using now

if you put OS/system file into mSata SSD then it will be way faster. mSata is too expensive compare to normal SSD.

1. nvidia good in CUDA so if you need to use cuda then choose nvidia.675m still future proof enough but you can go for 680m if you have budget

2. how long you going to study there? if 2-3 years then it's best to get it from UK. i think UK cheaper than here too, no?

3. it's 3kg heavy and bit bulky compare to other 15" laptop but i think g55 is heavier and bulkier than this

4. haven't test yet but heard it can last 3 hours or so depends on your usage

let me add some but correct me if im wrong.

sager receive barebone from clevo and build up the laptop from scratch and that's why it will have clevo sticker and known as clevo in bios. some sager resellers(xcoticpc) offer an option to remove all branding with no cost(which i do like about it)

mine is from Horize and the sticker mention clevo as well.
