I overclock my laptop by MSI Afterburn biggrin.gif

Core Clock 598MHz -> 704MHz
Memory Clock 1500 -> 1662MHz

Compare between the 3Dmark above to the 3Dmark given from notebookcheck.net, the performance is somewhere near to GTX675M.

Tried battlefield 3 with this ULTRA settings (AA off), FPS increased from 25~35 to 35~50.

After an hour of gaming on BF3, the max temperature hit 73 celcius (room temp 21c, Cooler Master U3 on MAX)

Further Test:
1 hour MSI GPU stress test. 1 hour test.

Settings
AA: 8X MSAA
Resolution: 1920x1080
Max temp 69 celcius (Cooler Master U3 off)
Max temp 68 celcius (Cooler Master U3 MAX)

Temperature stop increasing after 40 mins.

cooler master seems like didnt help much =/

Nice overclocking Skeith:) is this your stable OC?
*
probably. the MSI Kombustor Stress Test still running in 1080p + 8x MSAA running in 99% load.
the temperature remains 69c peak since around 00:45 until 01:45 and still counting.

i planning to leave it there for another 1 or 2 hours.

VDDC stays at 0.85v
should be quite plausible.

Just placed an order with princeJ for a NP9130  biggrin.gif

Any test i should run once i get the machine to ensure everything is in good condition ?
*
yay! one more P151EM biggrin.gif

I got mine with faulty RAM last month. But they set it right after that. So i prefer... run memory test? lolz

and ofcoz, check around the specs and see weather the screens for dead pixel or any dark spot or not.

welcome to the family biggrin.gif

guys regarding on sager laptop(any model) vs g75  the cooling system how? which one better?
*
ASUS G75? if you are compare to Clevo P270WM (which is 17" for both of the machine for fair fight).

I would say Clevo. coz it got 4 fans inside the machines. while G75 got onli 2.

if compare to P170. then should be about the same. (if both using same silicon paste on both CPU n GPU)

*correct me if i'm wrong.

Well, the np 9130's GPU can be upgraded if you change the power supply from 120W to 180W. A few confirmed this in the NBR forum but I havent seen anyone that actually do it. Not sure if the 8130 could be the same but hopefully it can.
*
power supply as in power adapter? or something inside the comp and batts?

The think is I'm always moving my laptop on a daily basis... So I prefer retractable type that can be stored easily. Hate to have to tidy up the cable every single day.

how about a wireless one?

That would conclude a GPU and higher wattage adapter.

i just checked with them

P151EM1, upgrade to 180W + GTX 680M 4G GDDR5 + IC diamond paste+ they upgrade for you (this will keep the warranty, if you do urself, warranty void)
