The launch in London was delayed by another week and i missed it
Just rooted and have installed CWM - it was freaking easy using the Nexus 7 toolkit by mskip - just took 5 mins + to get it done
Installed stickmount and connected my Tab 7.7 external sdcard and completed copying over all my stuffs and Titanium Backup
Now restoring back my apps/data

Transformer pad 300 & transformer prime.
Same spect n 10 inch screen.
Price is 2x and maybe get jelly bean 3 or 4 months later

If phone, HTC 1x.

Why every one so against DPI change?
Nv cause any instability force close or compatibility issue. Been using for several weeks d.

In portrait mode, how many recent app window u can open?
Can post one screen shot? And the notification bar too:-)

Your app tray looks identical to mine. If the recent app and notification bar also same then I think I'll just stick with mine.

Just wondering if this tab can be used with stylus that has Note 10.1 capabilities. You know..using stylus on the multitasking mode etc. Are there any apps that can make the tab has theses abilities?

Well, not that I'm against changing DPI, but I think its a hassle, you'd have to find the ro.density file and tweak it and then reboot and tweak again if the DPI doesn't suit you. Anyway, here's a screenshot with the recent apps open.

I doubt there is a way to make the Note's stylus work on the Nexus 7. If it could then the Note has pretty much lost its entire appeal. Also if I'm not wrong, the S-pen (I think that's what they call it) is proprietary technology and is a hardware thing.

aarghh too bad..now hav to wait for the note 10.1. I tot there's some alternative

Anyway... S-pen is not normal Stylus. Even though its 'ballhead' looks just like a plastic but it always make me wonders how the phone detect the touch. Also how the buttons on S-pen interact with the phone. Let me dream on this maybe I can understand how it worked

DPI change invokes only one or the other UI presentation: phone or tablet. In the case of Nexus 7, it runs a hybrid of both UI depending on application. I'd rather have the flexibility of both than restricting it to one UI alone. In other word, I'd let the tablet do its thing. But that's just me.

spen is not a usual stylus. it is invented with a kind of unique technology from wacom and the tablet itself is needed to equip with a wacom digitizer in order for it to work with the spen.

went into youtube and notices that i got 1 purchase which is Transformers Dark of the Moon by paramount with status paid...

without VPN youtube tells me item n/a

with vpn i can watch the movie..

yup it's the free movie that is available in the States

VPN on the Nexus? I don't know why but I can't seem to be able to play any of the movies I bought on YouTube, including the Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon. I can see it alright, but every time I try to play it, it never plays, nor downloads even when I'm on VPN.

emm, what i mean is Nexus 7 with back camera and phone capable ... i think need to wait a bit more, wish samsung tab 7 come with quad core and jelly bean
