Did the dashboard get ripped out? Which brand of camera is used & what's the damage price wise?

i just call (EA guy) "according" to him warranty will not avoid.. true or not, also donno..

im always a more pessimistic person. i personally would assume that its void. berani buat berani tanggung la.

anyway, if he say no void, then something happen, you bring to sc and sc say void, tak kan u wan to argue with him tht the accs shop say nt void kan? makes not sense la...

Yeah, have to agree with that. Berani buat, berani tanggung. Just have to determine the scope of what gets void. Perhaps just these ..

* Head Unit (this shouldnt bother too many people)

* Possible dashboard 'krek krek' sound from 3rd party dismantling.

* And all electrical components with a direct electrical connection to the wire that got tapped. I'm assuming it would be from wire that connects to reverse light or sensors.

someone wrote here, the stock head unit got no extra port for the camera to be fitted in since it was not programmed with a rear camera... then what happen if the radio or cd switched on, and we reverse the car?

dashboard actually i manage to solve my problem while they were doing my cam. i go to one corner and paste myself some leftover sponge on the back of the panel. the krek krek noise is no longer there

shud be reverse light wiring.

when u reverse it will change the screen to the cam. song will continue to play as usual.

today morning, overcrank sound again when start car although this overcrank never happened for the past 7 days after changed OWV. I do have the same feeling that the overcrank was due to choke being set to rev higher during cold start or maybe set to crank the engine extra 3-5 seconds to ensure the engine is started up with One Single Push Start.

But if that is so, then why for the first 7 days this overcrank did not happen although there were cold starts?

When I first got my new car, it never happened until 2 weeks later and it just got more frequent and it became worse when the engine needed 12-15 seconds to start up each morning.

I will have to monitor whether the engine will have difficulty starting up in the coming weeks. If there isn't, then my OWV issue is solved and it is confirmed that the choke and ecu settings for cold starts do trigger the overcranking to ensure single push start-up.

By the way, my 1st full tank still have 3 blocks left since replaced OWV and I have already done 200km where I would have normally finished all 8 blocks last time. So I am sure my FC is better now after replaced OWV.
