QUOTE(fulat @ Jul 5 2012, 09:18 AM) 1. build quality? huh.. how do u determine build quality, with what? and auto wiper, lights and day light led quality is what? i belip whatever modification on ur car, esp those electronic ones, would void ur warranty... the only changes that are allowed during the warranty time is the sport rim, that also restricted only for 16' sport rim oni.. u put in 17', then the 5 years warranty gone.. 2. mine unit no vibration from outside. only inside whereby those are engine sound. if u would like to lower down the sound.. send your car for firewall and checked it wont void your warranty. but i cheapskat...i DIY 3. even F1 driver are selected base on weight too.. so i accept the fact that heavy "body" weight car will be underpower. 4. dont worry... no more old stock. 5. depand the market have got any for you or not.. or u can modify it yourself. |

QUOTE(BartS @ Jul 9 2012, 01:55 PM) From the manual, I read that Preve Premium's specifications: ive read somewhere, the campro cfe is 75% reworked from the original model of campro cps.. the piston, the bar, all have been hardened.. u could try to search for a pdf file named proactive_issue_43_web.pdf.. it contain the inside out of campro cfe from lotus themself..- kerb weight = 1340 kg - gross weight = 1705 kg Am puzzled how Proton came up with this figure. Where does this difference of 360 kg come from? Surely the coolant, fuel, engine oil, gear oil can't be this heavy. Added on July 9, 2012, 1:57 pm No offense mate but you wanna speed like crazy but worry about saman? |

guys, on the One Way Valve issue, after change it to a new one, is there any possibilities of the problem re-occur? as from my readings, the OWV is because of the oil not sticking enough on the valve after being left unstarted or cold... seems like re-occuring issue for me.. or i got the readings wrongly?!?!

QUOTE(Pokeman @ Jul 10 2012, 12:27 PM) Proton should make a competition... the 1st person who can identify how to solved OWV problem can get Preve for free... if like this, proton's engineer could not cari makan anymore.. all problem solve by layman like us.. no need to pay for the high income engineer anymore.. hahahahaif like that rite, why not we just start a project, like a linux project... we develop a peoples car, everyone of us contribute to the development... when the design, engine, accessoried finalized, then oni pay for the production.. woott woot.. |

QUOTE(BartS @ Jul 10 2012, 02:38 PM) Yeah, have to agree with that. Berani buat, berani tanggung. Just have to determine the scope of what gets void. Perhaps just these .. someone wrote here, the stock head unit got no extra port for the camera to be fitted in since it was not programmed with a rear camera... then what happen if the radio or cd switched on, and we reverse the car? * Head Unit (this shouldnt bother too many people) * Possible dashboard 'krek krek' sound from 3rd party dismantling. * And all electrical components with a direct electrical connection to the wire that got tapped. I'm assuming it would be from wire that connects to reverse light or sensors. |

QUOTE(diadokmai @ Jul 10 2012, 08:24 PM) bro bro..actually i test drive preve and inspira..then i choose inpira...but suddenly i think preve quite interesting too..but... i had a bit oof f experience in both.. my brother took preve exec iafm+. meanwhile the one that i did the test drive at the SC was the CFE. i just wondering..did humming sound happen to both auto transmission..or only CFE got tht humming sound? (sound berdengung) i feel the CFE preve lack of pickup.and some said it is bcoz of the 7 speed CVT which sacrifice the pickup in CFE preve...how about 6speed CVT preve? can u guys sharing with me... pick up wise, not much differences. since CFE is programmed to kick in when the rpm is between 2k-4k rpm. so, in terms of moving from stop, both performed pretty much the same. cruising around 80kmj-90kmj also pretty much the same. the iafm+ did the job well.. but whenever u want to take over the car in front, then u will hear the noise of the engine roaring, instead the car wasnt moving that fast compared to the roar of the engine.. the conclusion, iafm+ is enough if ur driving style more likely an unker style.. as for most of us here, we need the power to dragged the car more.. thats why we chose CFE (errr... mmm.. i havent got my car yet.. but since i already booked the CFE, i consider myself as a CFE owner hehehe) but to be honest, the real reason why i chose the CFE is not because of the CFE. but its because of Elecltronic Stability Control. ive been through a spinning myvi. and let me tell u, its horror.. i wasnt driving fast since i know its raining.. and my tyre was just changed to a new one a few month before.. and still, it happened due to a water trap... from my readings, the ESC could prevent the car from swaving left and right... judging from our weather, i would say, Malaysia needs to regulate a new car to comes with ESC factory fitted.. |
