According to this, Lenovo Y580 with MSata

Seems like it's pretty good to add in a MSata, instead of swapping the whole hard disk.

Might go for this but Msata 120GB still costs more than 600 sweat.gif

y480 = everything perfect, main problem stil; 14 inch screen. Would be nice to have 15.6 vs like Asus N series.

y580 = expensive -.- if just go for 15.6 inch and 660m is OCed version of 650m only. 15.6 is Full HD is good @ 1600x900. but problem start if wanna run the game like bf3 @ 1600x900, 660m may not be enough lol.

for y480, does it have any sort of warranty sticker stick to HDD? might wanna change to SSD but scared void warranty. (was saying if I swap HDD out SSD, later if notebook spoil within 2yrs, I put back HDD and send for RMA Lenovo wont reject me)

Aishhh.. unfortunately they remove such a usefull button tho' their software support it.
May be can try to use Y470/Y570 Lenovo Energy Management software ver 6.0.2.0 and see any button will control fans speed. biggrin.gif

Anyone facing game lag on battery mode for Y580/Y480? hmm.gif
