QUOTE(deepcool0922 @ Jul 5 2012, 08:54 PM) Recommend one large silent fan. Becoz U3 adjust to direct air into laptop, after one year will clogged by dust. U3 is more effective in cooling as its increase the airflow inside the laptop. Just get some air filters place on top of fan to reduce dust.

QUOTE(ytlay @ Jul 5 2012, 10:18 PM) There is one here, interested. For my design is fan cooler in active. Water cooler is optional. When want to use water cooling, just plug the pipe behind the laptop. Cooling the heatsink with water and fan both.

QUOTE(deepcool0922 @ Jul 6 2012, 01:41 PM) I did some digging. I found that US version of Y580 does not support Intel Smart Response Technology. Here's the link : Y580 Mini ReviewAnother link : http://forum.notebookreview.com/ideapad-es...-thread-38.html (Refer to post 374) I'm not sure if malaysia version will be the same. If u using SSD, u no need SRT anymore. If u using HDD, get a SSD. How much improvement, I can't tell you now.
