Got a question... Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes...

Let's say I have 2 MacBooks, both different specs...
I want to put Macbook1's HDD together with its data to Macbook2...
What's the best way to do it?

Copy an image of that HDD with an external drive, insert that HDD to Macbook2 and format it then backup the data?

Thanks in advance...

How about backup to Time Machine?
Then use Migration Assistant using Macbook 2 to migrate data from Time Machine.

Carbon Copy Cloner.

Make sure your source HDD(MacBook 1) had been updated to the latest software update before cloning to target(MacBook 2).

You can also follow Edoras's advice using Migration Assistant. The fastest method is connecting both source and target MacBooks via Thunderbolt. The next fastest is via FireWire, then Gigabit Ethernet. Migration Assistant does not work via USB.

I migrated all my perfectly set up Retina MBP files to the just purchased 2013 MacBook Air 13" via Thunderbolt, takes just 45mins to transfer 200GB+ of data over.

I can't get more than 3 hours on my Macbook Air 11.6" since day 1. Apple states that the battery can last 7 hours doh.gif

Hi there, for MBA 11.6', it is stated that
"Up to 5 hours wireless web"

Depends on what you are doing with the MBA. Pure surfing will last you up to 5 hours.
Well, to be safe, 4.5 hours.

Fire up your "Activity Monitor"
Under CPU section, you will be able to see which process actually eats up the house power

iTunes Songs is available now.

Or you can perform normal download like what other did on Windows. No difference.

Samsung does have 27" LED Monitor. Not sure if it's lower than RM1k or not.

amandtech review says rmbp pixels really push nvidia to the top of its limits... a bit lag in performance compares to mbp with nvidia 650s...
