QUOTE(Noneluv @ Jun 18 2012, 03:05 PM) Hi All Bro, I've driven my 1.6 from KL to Ipoh at 120kmh - 140kmh, no overheat issues.I got some question because i saw some topic discuss about the Saga FLX overheat. may i know what is this problem actually ? because recently i am planning to buy the saga flx 1.6... Like any other cars, driven sensibly, there should be no problems. The Saga is not a race car. |

The Saga is not a race car. early in the highway i drove till almost 160 and 1 bar will be gone only after 32km where else if driven till at least 120kmh 1 bar can go further around 50-100km per bar. mind u the cvt hv it's own cooler, not sure how fast it can overheat >5k rpm for more than 2hrs? |

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Jun 18 2012, 04:16 PM) jz after i slowed down because of the bar dropping too fast.. i saw a police sitting under the flyover with cam speed trap! hopefully i won't receive a summon speaking of bypass/touge.. my journey to muadzam i use kuala klawang road, very sunyi, bushes all over the road shoulders.. tight corners too.. went back to kl using lpt to cut travel time and less tension to overtake lorries on the kuala klawang road, almost everytime attack corner feels like over the limit of this car speed around 60-70.. tight bent summore This post has been edited by huzaifa136: Jun 18 2012, 04:24 PM |

Here is my FC experience since I've drove this FLX more than 35,000 KM in 10 months :
From KL - JB (300KM distance) 90~100 km/h, one bar >105KM 100~110 km/h, one bar >90KM 120~140 km/h, one bar >70~80KM 130~160 km/h, one bar > 50~65KM Look at this, drove til 102 KM but still never drop one bar... I've try speeding 140 km/h to 160 km/h for continuous 1 hour, so far, no overheat problem occur on CVT. Maybe the CVT get cooler too because the cooler get more air during speeding. QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Jun 18 2012, 05:06 PM) Here is my FC experience since I've drove this FLX more than 35,000 KM in 10 months : Mine BLM manual @ 3600rpm can do 140km for 1st bar and 120km for 2nd bar, so ur @ such low rpm should be if not better, equal my car FC. So still u need to control ur right foot... From KL - JB (300KM distance) 90~100 km/h, one bar >105KM 100~110 km/h, one bar >90KM 120~140 km/h, one bar >70~80KM 130~160 km/h, one bar > 50~65KM Look at this, drove til 102 KM but still never drop one bar...
