Check FUELLY and study better

Normally different car/different person/different driving style all came up with different FC, besides road/traffic condition affect mileage pretty much. General idea is, read the #1 post is easier for you to understand  nod.gif

If like that is 6-point, then UR also 4-point dy  laugh.gif

I was wondering how it would fixed on the firewall, so I went to check my engine bay last nite and googled more pictures. Then only I realize it is fixed on the fender instead, so it makes more sense now  blush.gif
*
Look at the pic of Siuyi u provided, i also can't figure out where the point on firewall...now the pic is clear, and i dun think the fender is hard enough for this purpose (fender is one of the crumple zone), but of course better than none. So i will go for UR in a month time, no choice.

Here is my FC experience since I've drove this FLX more than 35,000 KM in 10 months :

From KL - JB (300KM distance)

90~100 km/h, one bar >105KM
100~110 km/h, one bar >90KM
120~140 km/h, one bar >70~80KM
130~160 km/h, one bar > 50~65KM

Look at this, drove til 102 KM but still never drop one bar...  brows.gif

[attachmentid=2900249]

I've try speeding 140 km/h to 160 km/h for continuous 1 hour, so far, no overheat problem occur on CVT.
Maybe the CVT get cooler too because the cooler get more air during speeding.
*
Mine BLM manual @ 3600rpm can do 140km for 1st bar and 120km for 2nd bar, so ur @ such low rpm should be if not better, equal my car FC. So still u need to control ur right foot... laugh.gif

manual might still get the best fc compared to cvt and auto
if the driver knows the right time to shift and it hv good ratio between gears

on normal condition cvt is on par with manual coz not that many manual drivers
know how to get the most out of their manual car.

on manual tranny, there's also a lot of ways to experiment to get better mileage
cause it mostly depends on ur right foot.. whereas cvt depends mostly on computer to calculate the best ratio
*
Highway constant 3600rpm where need to shift gear one...

yes, it's stock car.
for high speed, not always constant, sometime rev and sometime break...
that one for highway, but on city drive, the factor not much, it was achievable for city drive too
bro, manual always won auto/cvt la  sweat.gif
btw, @ 3,600 RPM, my speed is around 155 km/h, i think if maintaining that without slowing down, maybe >120KM per bar achievable @ 3,600 RPM, the car feel smoother and the engine providing best efficiency power to it, i should try it next time  hmm.gif
anyway, your FC really geng!!  thumbup.gif
any modding done to your car? maybe fuel saver, lighten up the weight, air aerodynamic?  tongue.gif

but you mention 1st bar 140KM, 2nd bar 120KM... maybe when come to 6th bar, it huge drop  doh.gif
i said so because i got constant reduce for 1st to 4th bar (100++KM per bar), mean i got 500KM++ when it come to the last bar (might get 550KM++ when start to blink)   brows.gif
*
Normally i travel from JB -> Ipoh, i fuel it full at Skudai, i only refuel when reach Ipoh, total mileage is about 520km. blink.gif

Of course i'm slow poke, always done 110km/h only, becos poorfag scare love letter from police.

But honestly since i bought my car, you nv saw even a post from me that complaint about high FC of this car, when i saw u guys post <10km/L, i'm like speechless and just keep diam diam only. Maybe my driving style? or i'm lucky to get a low FC engine? i'm not sure, dun shoot me, my full tank (mostly 33.XL) won't go down 350km even once, normally >400km/tank at normal city drive.

Driving style, shift @ 2.5-3k RPM, that's it. Sometimes get challenge red line all the way, but only few sec, won't kill FC so much.

Anyway, no fuel saver in my car or any other mod, just a K&N drop in, and 5W30 FS oil, and tell u, Petronas 95. wink.gif

QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Jun 19 2012, 08:32 AM)
then it might be your driving style different, and might get the lucky low FC engine  laugh.gif
btw, someone at kereta.info blog did burning rate for each type of petrol using same amount of petrol on the bottle cap and let it burn to finish, and here's the result :

MOBIL ----- RON95 ---  26.44 SEC
ESSO ------ RON95 ---  26.04 SEC
CALTEX ---- RON95 ---  25.36 SEC
SHELL ------ RON95 ---  31.59 SEC
PETRONAS - RON95 ---  35.57 SEC
BHP --------- RON 95 --- 30.53 SEC

since you say using Petronas 95 (the slowest rate of burning) maybe it really a factor to our FC because i was used to Shell 95 and able to achieve 6.9L/100km but then i switched to Esso (which is the fastest burn rate), and found out my FC increased to 7.7L/100km... both test was driving at same style, same distance, same place...  hmm.gif
conclusion, slower burn rate reduce FC???  whistling.gif

my meaning of "track" is actually meaning nothing is around
in reality...swerve to left or right might cause more serious than hit dead on
swerve left maybe is wall or steel bar at the side of the road
swerve right is incoming traffic..even worse
*
Why u not think on positive way? You drive in 3 lane road @ night, suddenly u blind and in front u will hit dead on, left and right is empty without car, so with ABS u can swerve to left or right rather hit dead on, you choose. icon_rolleyes.gif

Me using Petronas, nothing wrong with that. Campro low end torque memang lembik, unless i can get dyno result on each fuel use to test our Saga, else i will say different power of each petrol is just pure placebo.

You really have balls of steel man. Slight flick of the wrist can mean instant death. I still remember sitting in my friend's car at 200 kph. Some idiotic van moving at a snail's pace cut into the lane in front my friend's car. Obviously he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings when he did that. My friend flashed him oso he insist on cutting in.

Confirm cannot brake in time. Sure die edi wan. Lucky that section of highway got extra space between the fast lane and the road divider. Else I'd won't be here posting on this forum edi.
I thought you drive like unker? tongue.gif

I really am tempted to add a supercharger ...  hmm.gif How much do they normally cost ar?

I dunno how to poison you also, other than the obvious 2 more mounting points on the part-of-the-chassis-on-top-of-the-enine-bay-behind-the-wheel-well  whistling.gif

more points = more parts of the chassis to share the load. I am curious why UR don't have 4 point FSB for Saga, they have 3 point FSB for Persona that mounts to the firewall also  hmm.gif
*
Look at our Saga engine bay is too pack @ firewall area, i try observe and observe last, can't figure out which place we can install 3rd point @ firewall, thats why i scratch my head when i saw the half-disclosed-expected-firewall-mounted-4-point-front-strut-bar-picture but actually 2 more mounting points on the part-of-the-chassis-on-top-of-the-enine-bay-behind-the-wheel-well... laugh.gif

I dun get 3Max, do they not realize the importance of branding? They don't even have a proper website (do they?), they don't do many roadshows (if any) like UR does. What gives? are they completely relying on their customer's to spread the word? Look at the amount of time and money UR invests in popularizing their product.

No offense to mahihi, if UR had a 3-point or 4-point FSB, I would have chose UR, since I have no idea what is the difference in quality. THAT is the power of branding.

Just my honest 2 sens.
*
+1... nod.gif

I search over net, can't even find a proper website for it.

I will say wrong if UR do all just to popularize their branding. They give us informations and pic too.
Remember that the link i gave before? UR jack the car at right front and cut the middle of FSB to show how much tower strut flex during underload...

This test doesn't make me feel UR is superb to reduce this flex, because outcome we also dun know, but at least they show us the evidence chassis does flex alot during hard cornering. So they can convince me, at least UR can do this test and i assume they already have countermeasure for it. Trust me, that link really change my mine alot.

Compare to 3max, no test result, no test method, even cheaper, so?

No offense to anyone, if u happy just go for it. I have no choice because i stay @ Johor, and it is not as easy as stated before to DIY, u need a proper tools which i dun think normal person like me will have.

Currently,

Underdrive+lighten aircon pulley, lighten alternator pulley , underdrive powersteering pulley.

Crank pulley will be looking for lighten pulley ONLY, and not considering underdrive since I'm underdriving the aircon already. Not ready to give up alternator and powersteering in the long run.

Would like to find out if any of you guys already hooked up adjustable cam pulleys & lighten/underdrive crank pulley. notworthy.gif
*
I'm afraid you are the 1st who hook up underdrive pulley (at least for this club), as long as i read mostly Lighten Pulley only. notworthy.gif

Well, am not anything against Mahihi. Personally I felt sorry for him in this incident, just like the company screw up their sales representative by closing a deal but unable to deliver goods. I think this is the lamest excuse I've ever heard, which is from 3MAX(if everything Mahihi said is truth-which I have no doubt). Aren't 3MAX supposed to have ready stock in container? Or they will only start producing piece by piece after receiving 6 pieces in bulk order only they go source for material? Anyway, I guess nobody will be able to answer this. So, all I have to do is wait, and hopefully within the next 10 days we can hear some good news from them, and hopefully there is no more excuse within the next 10 days.

Am not joining the TT, need to cancel "leave" and reapply again next round. Kindly arrange accordingly.

Meanwhile....
