me too no freebies, i asked about it and the nokia store ppl said if got then will call me... don't know true or not..

If not wrong, that shop sells other brand as well, they're not Nokia Store (as in a proper Nokia Store which only sells Nokia). If true, then they usually don't follow RRP. For the official RRP, not sure got drop or not.

Is it in the malaysia market already???

does our N8 have PureView technology?? 808 cannot zoom with full 38mp, but N8 full 12mp still can zoom x2, can someone explain it to me??

nokia 808, 41Mpx->pureview->oversampling->binning those same pixel pixel pixel pixel etc->super pixel.
nope n8 can't do that, as nokia 808 has a dedicated image processor to do that...fast.

on top of that, the spec for the camera is impressive for h/p, the symbian belle fp1 is fast enough for me... not same categories as ios or android but what i need, the phone delivered.

i wish i could get the tripod holder as well.
right now i only need screen protector and tripod kit.

i already bought the back case and micro HDMI cable.

the back case from low yat roadshow for like RM63, 2m micro HDMI cable from some small stall in kajang for RM35. it's not nokia's official cable but it's working fine.

the back case is a must, already drop once...feel my heart just like tercabut. RM63 price is a good price considering good review about the case. Well, i hope 808 sell more, so we can have more accessories from 3rd party..like iphone and galaxy.

Added on June 24, 2012, 9:56 pmok, the zoom in N8 is what ppl called "interpolation zoom"
the camera software tends to insert "fake" pixels into the original picture, enlarging it in order to achieve the zoom effect
on 808, the zoom they named it as "lossless zoom" which means that no interpolation is performed, every single pixel from the whole picture is real and all information are straight from the cmos sensor.
you can refer to the pureview pro technology white paper for detailed explanation.
