Eh! Thanks alot! Haha omg how could I not notice it!

Yea because the location had limited space was shooing with a 16-35.. Will try n fix distortion later on and liquidfy her hands! Haha!

Yup, that's the first thing I noticed too besides the slight underexposure. At 27mm, the left and right girls' faces are slightly distorted.

u never try using distortion control in-camera?
apparently get similar results if u use nx2 to fix distortion.

No not really haha! I actually quite like the distortion on 16-35 with landscapes n events lol!
I've also not looked at that feature in the camera yet too!

I thought at the 27mm end there would be lil or no distortion.. Cause I've read somewhere that distortion can be really noticeable at 20 and below!

due to the fact that the 24-85 were in the market for a long long time. Putting VR might not interest many FX users as many of them already had one in their off-duty bag. Many had the f/3.5-4.5 one than the f/2.8-4

VR on 24-85 is just a side show to make it look more tempting.
the main thing is they have obviously upgraded the optics.
if they didnt put VR, i can bet u way way more ppl will complain why got no VR.
