I sold my 24-70mm for 28-70mm and now have a little extra cash for 35-70mm, hoping to own it again for walk around purpose

Used to own the 35-70mm but I sold it for 18-70mm when I came back to photography career again. Love the sharpness and the size of it.

Very hard to pick out just one because I like them all for different occasions. The last 4 lenses are my favourites among lenses with aperture rings. I have other favourites as well (G lenses) not listed. The first 3, I already have their G replacements that cover those focal ranges.

If I had to pick out just one, it would be the AF-S 80-200mm f/2.8 because I happen to use it a lot. Now I'm using the 85mm f/1.4 and the 135mm f/2.0 more often since the D800 now gives a faster and more accurate focus lock on all the cross and non-cross sensors with these older lenses if compared to the D700.

p/s: Forgot that I also have the AF 50mm f/1.8D with aperture ring. Not a favourite since the FOV is something I'm not comfortable.

Will get back to you on this.

Omg! My worse nightmare happened!

My D800 didn't trigger the wireless CLS while doing some photoshoot tonight! Almost pengsan! It did trigger but not 100%

I think I need a PW so hopefully this wont happen again

isnt there supposed to be a fix for this in the next firmware? alot of ppl seem to have this problem according to the web.

Aiyak, I heard about some CLS issue on the D800 actually it isn't fixed yet. And then again when D800 came out earlier, I know the PW isn't working with it... FlexTT5 system at least. Should have some firmware upgraded now I guess?
