I find AOKP to be simply the most feature filled ROM. Others might be smooth and blazzing fast but without some of the features made me feel like my G.Nex is not using it's full potentials. tongue.gif

Aww... My TPU casing won't let the Micro USB that came with my Nexus (AP) through it. Guess it's designed for Malaysia version of USB Cable sweat.gif
*
Malaysian version = GSM version = International
If it wouldn't fit, the case would be either for Verizon/Sprint US or simply an ill-designed case.
Buy Mercury case will you. Save lots of money and time. tongue.gif

hi guys, I'm updating my aokp to B40.

First time using free version titanium backup. have a few questions

If i were to backup using the free version, when i flashed to a new firmware and restore from the backup, will i have to reinstall the applications from google play ?

What are the advantages of having the donor(paid) version of titanium backup when compared to the free one ?
*
Have to manually install one by one the apps for free whereas it's a one click function for the paid ver.

oh.. so the backup in the free version is for games save datas ? something like that ?
*
Backup function is still there. App apks, data and all. Just that you had to install the backed up apps one by one. Troublesome if you have loads of apps.

i see. can you recommend me a kernel too ? its been a long time since i last flashed my nexus. last time when i flashed my nexus, franco kernel was happening, not sure about now.
*
Not sure for most of the users here. But I use leankernel 3.9.0
Not bad. Quite frugal with the battery mated with my AOKP B39 + revised V6 supercharged script.

For mostly websurfing, social, 15minutes HD video, 40+ minutes music, sync on, half brightness. I get this.

Once you go Trinity, you'll never go back. Color on Trinity is perfect. You'll miss it when you flash to other kernels. No joke.

Tune in radio app. That's all you'll ever need for radio

The last time I've flashed it, the colour is a tad bluish. :/

Did they use a different font? The typography looks slimmer and cleaner in curves.

Restoring all my non-konk worthy apps back using TiBa now.
One question,

The stock app is Chrome or what?
