Im using sandisk class 6 16gb, i realize the Gallery load quite slow.
Do I need to format the Sd card first ?
I took it out from my s2 and straight into the s3.
Is that the reason ? Its only 30% full

Guys

Regarding the problem with the screen goes blank/hang/jam..i think the problem will start after you start charging, its maybe the heating problem..if you buy the samsung s3 at telco, open it and try to charge the unit first, ask the seller to charge for u

Thanks. Last time on SGS2, the Task Manager App shows you the active application and RAM used versus RAM available....

I guess in SGS3, they took it away so we don't have to be concerned about the total RAM versus RAM used, right?
Haha....
*
S3 still have task manager features but not the task manager app. Long press home button will give you task manager and all previous app logs.

First time scanning always takes time. Once your Gallery already cache then next time you open it will be much faster.

Try downloading QuickPic from the store, much faster than Gallery.

Hi all,I think it is a bad idea by keep pressing the physical home button as it will eventually spoil just like the one on my previous iphone. Hence, anyone has any idea how to set the "Home" function?

Consider you lucky to have the home button on SIII. My previous Desire HD come with no home button, the power button is the only way you can wake up your phone. Of course with some mod, volume buttons are able to wake the phone too.

So i am quite puzzle why some SIII reviewer mention the physical home button is a minus point. doh.gif I always like a physical home button - it is so easy to press compared to the side (Samsung) or top (HTC) power button. Between HTC and Samsung, i prefer the HTC top power button. Always press the volume keys when i press the Power key when i first using my Note. doh.gif

don't worry much about the Home button will spoilt, i'm not sure which iPhone you have, but as I understand, is only iPhone 4/4s have the issue that the home button spoilt easily.

I'm using the 3GS, touchwood that the home button is function as new, but daily i press more than 50 times to switch the apps within apps while i'm waiting for website loading, i switch to facebook. Every switch i have to press twice for the quick launch bar appear, so do you think it will spoilt easily? I don't think so lor.... tongue.gif

Physical home button pros:-
- can wake up the phone
- reduce wear and tear on power button (since can use home button to wake phone)
- won't accidentally press the button while using the phone.
- in case of software crash, home button can help revive the phone.

Cons:-
- wear and tear of physical button make it problematic
- very difficult to press and slower to press compared to soft-home-key
- doesn't look nice.

Apple's QC has dropped considerably.

I remember my iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS (which I still have) having no problems with the home button.

But after using the 4 and 4S, loads of problem even after few months the home button is not at 100% anymore.
