on the contrary, i hardly use the default apps except Gmail and G.Talk.
Consider you lucky to have the home button on SIII.  My previous Desire HD come with no home button, the power button is the only way you can wake up your phone.  Of course with some mod, volume buttons are able to wake the phone too.

So i am quite puzzle why some SIII reviewer mention the physical home button is a minus point.   I always like a physical home button - it is so easy to press compared to the side (Samsung) or top (HTC) power button.  Between HTC and Samsung, i prefer the HTC top power button.  Always press the volume keys when i press the Power key when i first using my Note. 

Im still using my 4 years++ iphone 2G and you may not want to know the number of times I press the home button. Its still in perfect condition

lowyat bottom floor SEP just got white, no blue
1st floor SEP got, but bundle with their package
which are screen protector (RM50) and case (depends what case you choose, at least RM99) = at least RM 150

haiz at last haven't get my phone yet, stupid SEP
go to 1st floor SEP at lowyat, give them my pre-order receipt
they ask me take white colour, i tell them your staff said help me reserve
then go in and take the blue colour, and the phone box is cacat =_=
furthermore, after open the box, only said their manager said must buy with their "package"
so go back bottom floor SEP, no stock for blue, can pre-order also
RM 200 pre-order, and can just buy the phone only, but can't refund
totally speechless, wasting my time to go lowyat today and get nothing

and the blue s3 totally is awesome, so nice

the smart stay is a hit and miss. u need to understand how it works thou. it will try to detect yr eyes, but sometimes when the angel is not correct (eyes not located near center), or the environment is too dark (eyes black, face oso black, end up detect nth), then it won't work.

even human like us sometimes fail to recognise in dark, don't expect it to be 100% workable.

however, i do notice my smart stay will function better after setting up my face unlock. before i setup face unlock, even directly pointed to my face also it wont work. but after setting up, even when i put on the table, it will detect part of my face. just my thought.

yeah 2G and no auto sync. I'm still quite surprised that I'm not even able to get past 1 day without charging despite the measures to conserve battery life 

i'm a first time smartphone user though. Is having to charge everyday a normal thing? 
also, how long does it usually take to charge from low battery to full battery?

a full charge should take somewhere between 2.5 - 3 hours. But I just plug in it before I go to bed and off it in the morning.

won't the battery overcharge? or does the phone stop charging when full?
