Why when I play videos the brightness automatically become dimmer? Prefer more brightness when playing video.

I just realized TB wont work as the phone is not rooted. So u guys mostly rooted?
*
root all my Android devices - HTC Desire HD, G. Note and SIII, first thing i got them just because i need to use Titanium Backup to restore app+data from previous Android devices.

- backup is catch 22. if i don't root i can't do titanium backup. but if i root i may risk loosing my data before i even do a titanium backup.
- i am living happily without this feature.
- don't think i need market enabler. i only use a handful of apps, mainly for work and family.
- i don't visit porn sites too often. tongue.gif

i am just a user. i do not need to be a power user. or at least i don't want to complicate things with my to be beloved s3.

( i sound qualified to be an iphone user)
*
it shouldn't be any risk of loss of data. But even if there is any risk, if do the root as soon as you got the SIII, no data there to lose.

Actually Root is very important for most users who are upgrading from another android devices coz it can make a perfect app+data backup from the old device and restore them in the new android devices. thumbup.gif Each and every android phones i used is rooted becoz of the need to use TB. biggrin.gif

Just waiting for the Otterbox Commuter cases to get released biggrin.gif
*
Otterbox too bulky for the slim SIII. Get the Case-mate Tough if you want better protection. I have CM Tough for HTC Desire and Otterbox Commuter for Desire HD. CM Tough series is more refined and nicer to hold in hand.

No-lah. If it is made in Korea - it will be stated Made in Korea. If stated made by Samsung than is probably in other countries - China or Vietnam : these 2 are the common ones
*
coz both my wife's and brother's white Maxis set both Made in Korea by Samsung and i saw some post their white SIII photo earlier are all the same.

is it necessary to apply SP ??? i thought Gorilla screen never scratch easily !!
*
there is already 2 of members here replace their screen due to scratch and crack at cost of RM600!!! So better safe than sorry.

i never install any anti-virus in my Android phones but i have no crack warez in my phone, so should be quite safe.

I dont like the idea of adding too many third party applications sad.gif
I think the built in Gallery should work fine
*
on the contrary, i hardly use the default apps except Gmail and G.Talk.

Hi all,I think it is a bad idea by keep pressing the physical home button as it will eventually spoil just like the one on my previous iphone. Hence, anyone has any idea how to set the "Home" function?
*
Consider you lucky to have the home button on SIII. My previous Desire HD come with no home button, the power button is the only way you can wake up your phone. Of course with some mod, volume buttons are able to wake the phone too.

So i am quite puzzle why some SIII reviewer mention the physical home button is a minus point. doh.gif I always like a physical home button - it is so easy to press compared to the side (Samsung) or top (HTC) power button. Between HTC and Samsung, i prefer the HTC top power button. Always press the volume keys when i press the Power key when i first using my Note. doh.gif

SEP selling at RRP but had to buy with PWP
*
should complain to Samsung. shakehead.gif

QUOTE(erymanthus @ Jun 8 2012, 05:13 PM)
RRP means Recommended Retail Price, which I think the seller can change according to demand and supply.

It's "recommended" only, not Fixed or Compulsory Retail Price...
*
RRP is normally the highest price the dealer can sell, let alone Samsung "Elite" Partner. sleep.gif
