Why when I play videos the brightness automatically become dimmer? Prefer more brightness when playing video.

Instead of the normal 3G icon, I have an arrow icon pointing to the left with a "-" inside the arrow.
This is on the top left hand corner.
Anyone knows what it means?

I thought it was the indicator for 2G reception but when I put 2 units side by side, 1 has the 3G sign and the other the arrow icon pointing to the left.

i have setup the alarm & then switch off the S3
but it wont ring after the time reached, is it common??
My previous K850i can automatic turn on the alarm even though the phone is in off mode.

before u root u must first decide what root function u want. if not don't root. people who root for fun are the geeks.

- backup is catch 22. if i don't root i can't do titanium backup. but if i root i may risk loosing my data before i even do a titanium backup.
- i am living happily without this feature.
- don't think i need market enabler. i only use a handful of apps, mainly for work and family.

i keep getting a notification that says: currently unable to download please try again later. it appears at the bottom of the screen.

once it pops up, there's nothing that i can do to make it go away except restarting the phone. is this a known bug with a fix, or should i take it back?

Actually cost of S3 and Gnote battery is cheaper than last time like Nokia premium model which battery alone RM299 or something...i was shock when 1st i see the Gnote battery cost at RM139 which cheaper than i thought.
