i just thought of this question, let's say i cant get EB fixed in any SC. after endless hopeless ding-dong here and there from SC to SC again, so i send it to repair in workshop outside. then how would proton voids the warranty? it would be void if ONLY THEY KNOW right?

the air filter, how much is it? void warranty?

to all current owner, how you find ur bold....esp the CFE version ? happy what u pay for ? any regret...?

i still can't decide.....livina 1.8 or exora bold premium.

I got 3 kids (7,5 and 1 year old). Once a while take my parents and in laws....i will be driving the car to work... and i live in Penang.

So far I'm happy with my bold CFE, satisfied with what I paid for. I own the car for 4 months and did 12,000 KM on ODO

What I don't like
- Thin paint
- Occasional engine die off if you quickly engage gear right after starting the engine or when you do the 3 point turns (I experience engine die off ~4x through my ownership)
- Rough engine if driving below 40km/hr

What I likes are more than what I don't like smile.gif

Comparing to Livina, the big plus to Exora is the rear aircond, bigger space and pulling power.

I have no regret buying my EB cfe smile.gif
To me, EB is the most value for money MPV under Rm100k
Well equipped accessories, fast pickup and overtaking, cruise at low rpm ( 110km/h @ 2400rpm)

Problem: engine die off twice in my ownership
Solution: go to any SC and tell them change Oil Control Valve. 30 minutes job. No more die off and misfiring when idling

What i slightly dislike, the interior material. The plastic is good, design is acceptable, does not looks cheap but one thing, easily scratch sad.gif

Bro, two things...
1- My engine die off and after changing the OCV and reflash the TCU and ECU still the same, now they suspect the CVT problem and waiting the answer from technical team sad.gif
2- Regarding any scratch on plastic, just use the normal paint polish and the scratch will disappear in no time

Wish me luck (they are thinking to open and play with my gearbox icon_question.gif )

1. When your engine die off? During reverse, idle or cruising? Yours sound like serious problem. Try check the spark plug maybe its faulty or something . My EB already change ocv twice, change the first time its normal for few weeks then jerk again. After change again, its working until now smile.gif Goodluck bro, I hope proton know what they arw doing

2. Thanks for the tips smile.gif I really sakit hati see all the scratches, especially at the last row because bring stuff or put kids bag! 8 month car interior already look like 2 years of use dy sad.gif
