btw, to change the digitizer/lcd really easy actually, just 2 torx screws that hold the digitizer. just refer to this utube

I checked the website this morning. To amazement, the status is "ready for collection". I gave them a called and the staff immediately requested for my phone code. He confirmed it was ready! That was fast. Will check tomorrow what is the true problem.

if i were to change my phone from lumia 800 to lumia 620, is there any way i can back up my messages and restore back to my new lumia 620? I really need all messages that i have in my lumia 800.

i don't think there's a "best browser" for the Lumia, in fact, i don't think there's any "best browser" for any smart phone for that matter.

"Best" is just a description and it varies from user to user, so as long as the browser does what you want it to do then it's a good browser.

What are you actually looking for in a browser?

something like chrome.but i know..it faaaar fetched thing to have browser chrome(Google) to be in WP environment.well nvm juz got to live with IE..

uc browser maybe?

i don't know if anyone have posted about this before.

i just traded my nexus s with lumia 800 few days ago. had setup the phone with malaysia account, i found out that the marketplace in in malay and lacking xbox support. so i try to find a way to change to singapore account but most advise need me to do reset on my phone which i consider the last resort since i already bought a few apps.

so what i did was: Change my Xbox Account Region to singapore and update my billing info. just fill in the form and at the post code part, just put legit singapore post code. restart the phone (not sure if this is necessary) then after a while i get the marketplace in english and access to most apps that wasn't available before.

hope this helps for those in the same boat with me. i spend most of my day digging through google (which only shows old thread stating need to reset) until i found this solution

yup , switching region will got the app which available for local only.

WOAH! It seems UC browser supports file attachment unlike IE. But feels a bit laggy. I think general use I'll still use IE.

Where did u found xbox account? Pardon me but i dont understand this part. Appreciate if u can help me as i am in the same boat as u. Been using malaysia marketplace all this while.

for starter, we should have 2 account. 1st; windoes live id which used for activation, 2nd; xbox account for market n billing. I assume u already have windows live id, so for xbox account just go to xbox.com and sign in using the same windows live id. In account, update your billing information as stated on previous post, which the main purpose is to set your region as singapore using valid singapore post code. The rest of the information doesn't matter mostly.

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong :-)
