i know your feeling too..when my 7 days car got engine sign 'on' also admitted for 2 days. Like got new car but got no car type of feeling.. haiz

anyway, things will get sorted out eventually, at least protong will take your case for case study and fucuk the production dept kaw kaw..

anyway, nothing can escape without getting problem, even for new iphone. Is just that we are the unlucky ones..

true... dont said change whole car... changing the whole engine also almost impossible. the chassis number represent the engine. if u change that.. u have to go thru JPJ again... and all the process have to start over again.

unless its classified total lost to the engine or proton issue a statement out beyond repair condition... then you might get lucky for a new Engine ONLY... not the whole car.

I think if it took an unreasonable time to settle & in the mean time they're feeding u all the bull crap only then proceed with i-Care laa. If not then later you'll be facing a hard time to ask them to service your car again...

i would advise u rather keep complaining to them... U call your bank and tell them u are very not happy with the product after delivery and proof to them it's not your fault that the engine failure does not cause by you and its purely the manufacturer faulty which they pasang the engine wrongly and damaged your new car and this fault cant not be inspected when u collect your car and wanted them to stop the payment immediately until they have a satisfy answer.

by doing that at least u can aware bank that u have reported this case to them if can bring them into this case and hopefully they will give pressure to Edaran and let Edaran deal with them rather than you yourself deal with Proton Manufacturing.

if still can not.. go Ministry of Consumer. claim your buyer right!


but again.. that will mostly depend on the bank which willing to do that for u or not.

they wont change the whole car ler. but changing to a new engine is not impossible, but very possible.

when i bought my PE, i have the same problem. sent to SC, and after diagnosed, the solution is to replace the engine. so they have to order from the factory. no need to go through jpj again since they will stamp the same engine no on the new engine block, straight from factory! but you have to bear wasting your time again. it took me about a month before i could use my newly bought car again
!

p/s: even if you go to the tribunal, even they would say that u wont get a new car, since all car companies provided warranties for their cars. unless they do not honour the warranty/refuse to replace/repair the faulty parts, then you may got yourself a case.

so, just bear with it. once u got the new engine, you'll be smiling again

yeap... relax... its still not go to the extreme to go bank yet from what i see. and also.... if SC keep u updated what's the status. i still think its still not that bad yet. i have car before engine oil leak before... not hard to fix... only taking out the engine parts by parts and putting it back take time..

you cant stop the payment once you SIGN the Hire Purchase agreement the day you receive your car! that's why it's important for you to check your car carefully before you agree to accept it. if you dont sign, the bank will not make any payment to the seller! once you're sign, bank paid seller, you pay the bank, there is no turning back. whatever problems arise with the car is not the bank problem anymore, but it's between and the SC.

just sharing my experience

true if the manufacturing factory is here and they have stock. agree time need to to claim the whole engine back. but if the SC can fix it... let it fix...

this remind me of Chery brand car... some buy problem car from chery send back to to few different location SC and none of them can find out the problem cause. and have to wait for a month when they skilled engineer from china come... at the end.. the car was in the workshop for 2 month.

if change used engine only wan go test la...cos the geran engine number not same...
if u stamp ur old engine number to new used engine no need go test also can..but must same variant engine la

wah last nite i leave at page 8, now already on page 12... just now when i wondering around the net, i found a forum that take a preve problem from another forum(not from LYN) and bash it blindly...it make me think that even though some of us having prob with the car, al least we give our opinion based on fact n our experience, not being the third person that tend to know everything(wikipedia wannabe).glad to read ur post LYN members !!!
