Like I said, RM70k car = RM70k car problem. RM150k car = RM150k car problem. No car, no problem.

For those who thinks Volkswagen is great, here is what I'm experiencing:
Feb 2011 - Bought VW Golf 1.4 TSI from Amcorp Auto, Malaysia
July 17, 2011 - Radiator cracked (replaced under warranty)
Dec 10, 2011 - Discovered gear judder (yet to resolve till to date)
... March 22, 2012 – Complete sensors failures (apparently solved with relay change – took 2 weeks, collected on March 30, 2012)
April 7, 2012 – Problem reoccurred, power steering looses power, air-condition cuts-off – (apparently resolved with ABS block change, took one month, collected on April 28, 2012)
May 17, 2012 – Problem reoccurred, car completely stalled in the middle of highway and has to negotiate with VPRSA towing service to tow it back to Kuala Lumpur

I have purchased my VW Polo TSi for 2 months now. It's sad to say that to date, it has given me nothing but bad experiences. Don't get me wrong, the car itself is a dream come true for me, that's why the moment I can afford it, I immediately went out and purchased one.
What I am very displeased here is the customer service. Even before I got my car it was a harrowing experience. When loan and the... usual puspakom inspection and the usual formailities / legalities were completed, I was never told when I can get my car. I was just told to wait as they need to reprogram my transmission ecu. When? "not sure la.. Programming machine spoil so need to wait"...After much complaining, finally I got my car.
Couple of weeks later my absorber were leaking oil. Though covered under the VW warranty package, I was told that there is no stock. Now almost a month have passed, I am still riding on my VW polo with a leaky absorber. What's worse now is, lately, the dashboard is emitting some funny creaking sound. I dare not even highlight this without fear of being disappointed again. However, to be fair to myself as a consumer who earn his money through blood and sweat, I will bring to light on issues regarding my dashboard during my next visit to the service centre.
I had purchased a Perodua Kancil prior to this Polo. I have my fair share of incidences with that ride. Henceforth, I purchased this Polo with the belief and faith that VW technology will, at least be a hell lot better than that of a local manufactured car, but its really unfortunate and sad to say that it's worse than the experiences I have with perodua. At least when I return, I always do get the parts replaced or get a definable deadline when the replacement parts will be coming unlike what you all at VW is putting me through - "no parts, dunno when and u drive first la..."
Please respond to me on WHEN I will be getting my parts replaced as my patience is wearing thinner than my wallet after purchasing this piece of technological and service disappointment from VW.

Apparently VW is recalling cars in Singapore but not in Malaysia. Instead, VGM prefers to do it quietly by sending only certain owners a letter and a RM100 voucher. Well... I'm experiencing gear juddering but yet to receive any letter from VGM. By the way, don't even bother with the RM100 voucher... I prefer a 2 year extended warranty on the DSG like what VW Singapore is doing.
