i want to recommend something...

regards with slow deliveries or response from SA. I think The prevoc group admin can file one summaries complain from all members..

Date of booking fee. full name. email, phone number. branch where you order, receipt number.. and how long been waiting. ask them (proton) to send car there. dunno it will work or not... but if whole batch like that maybe proton can look into this mater seriously and send the cars to you guys as soon as possible.
2nd suggestion. Maybe after TT session at al barakath . we can try to organize another event at different time and date of course... something like convoy to see who get the lowest fuel consumption...if we pass through different state..different state preve cars can join us until which state they want to stop or until go back their own state. how bout from kl to johor then johor to kl? or from kl to perlis then from perlis back to kl.or from kl to east coast then back kl. do you guys think we can get 700 or 800 km? one full tank. one person driving without air cond with speed 80 to 90 average with most of the time average not more than 2k rpm?
*
good job. agree to summaries complain from all members. by the way me will get car before friday. car ready at store, just to settle plate no, insurance etc.

kl to perlis la. me at Sungai Petani, Kedah

Just call the service advisor.
My Car Engine kene Gantung this morning, it was due to the DVVT valve does not install properly at their production level. Therefore, the engine oil was leaking.

They now still in the progress to inspect further on the issue.

congrats. akhirnyer dapat jugak kete ko. i think u fucuk iCare and EON more then me... laugh.gif

HAHA. yup. semalam i pi sana soalan 1st. pe citer azwan (x sure betul tak nama ni) HQ EON? ko pergi EON HQ ke? padahal azwan pun i tak kenal. pergi HQ EON pun tak. just call eon careline. plus dah ramai yg dpt kereta. lebih 2 bulan menunggu. sgt2 penat. nasib baik minggu ni dpt kereta. kalau tak maybe i akan call seseorang di Proton HQ. ayah saya dpt no tu dari kawan dia. Dia (kawan ayah saya) order Preve Hitam. so dia call orang di HQ beserta dgn ugutan utk ketengahkan pd pihak media, apa yg menarik dlm tempoh 3 hari kereta sampai di showroom. so i rasa maybe bg yg belum dpt kereta patut ugut macam ni kot.

p/s: nasib baik akhirnya dapat kereta. jika tak konpem i pun akan ugut macam itu juga

It is because in P, the car lock the gear box isn't it?
You notice meter display got a gear with a padlock right?
The "tak" sound for lock & unlock is fine for me, unless you are referring to a different kind of "tak". laugh.gif

Did you have a car hanging on the wiper lever tell about shift to P before stop the engine?

Since that the car come with turbo engine, i think better use fully syntetic for better performance.

About bring your own engine oil, i have no ideas...may be should ask some bro here who have the same experience. smile.gif

I have no ideas why DVVT applied to the Proton Engine...Now sure whether did the service advisor saying anything wrong or not....DVVT or One Way Valve?

My question is, does both this two type of valve caused fuel consumption or engine oil leaking?

It's just called VVT, it is not a valve, but a system that controls valve timing.

As far as I understand, the OWV is part of the VVT mechanism.

Err... Heard that from fulat i think that once you get the car the chassis number is forever engraved with your name on it. Thus I think we definitely cannot change the car like what we did at if we bought a faulty electrical appliances... Huhu
