I asked Fire Fighting Malaysia for the CO2 refill and they are charging for every unit(1 unit=2kg). Every unit is Rm25.

Back to the scape I prepared, if I placed soil on all 3 part. For each part I intend to only plant 1 species. I think of putting HC on middle, japanese hairgrass on the right. Suggestion for the left, any sifu got suggestion. I know is quite plain smile.gif This is for shrimp tank.

blue sand u can enquire at the LFS. they do stock them mainly for those guppy tanks. sand scaping really a headache if u have pleco... their poo is really big in qty... haha
*
ya, i saw that. but the blue sand will fade in some time. later gotta change, more problem. I'm thinking of just putting blue sponge, but dun know it will look good or not. will try this weekend...

Sigh, last night was looking for a cheap 1000l/h MIC filter (just for fun) to replace my top filter,
saw those MIC filter prices.. sweat.gif RM220++ is a bit expensive right?
even though they are MIC brand and god knows when they will
fail to run properly and how easy to get their replacement parts.
In the end, i thought of getting 2nd eheim 2217 from fellow hobbyist.
much cheaper and worth it, easy to get spareparts, more silent(? hmm.gif ),
more reliable and also help other fellow hobbyist to clear their unwanted pre-loved junks tongue.gif

if you know what/how to check then soould not be any problem.
although Eheim is very good brand, i had seen many user misuse and damage it.
