US fissiden is longer, and not compact(current condition in my 2feet tank).
mini fissiden is very compact and very nice when full carpet.

Thanks for sharing the info with me. Really appreciate that. thumbup.gif

LOL for the Cheap Eheim filter actually depends on how close you are to the
shop owner too... i can get lower price than u guys... haha sorry being selfish, i dont really want share this info out where and who in public... =) because i dont want to spoilt the market price... if not later dont have distributor anymore due to profit margin low...

about the moss better go for singapore moss or star moss.
as for fissident need cold water to make it grow more green.. in my experience i not able to grow fissident well in 28 deg water, maybe some of you can but anyway just my experience
*
Oh I see. fisseden cant grow in a 28 deg water. How about singapore moss? Will the moss grow in a 28 deg water.

same here..
only manage to keep the fissiden alive.. cannot grow it in my tank..
27°C temp
*
27°C temp also cannot grow fissiden. Then I have to forget about it because I am using fan for my tank. My temp is around 26-28 the highest.

Sigh, last night was looking for a cheap 1000l/h MIC filter (just for fun) to replace my top filter,
saw those MIC filter prices.. sweat.gif  RM220++ is a bit expensive right?
even though they are MIC brand and god knows when they will
fail to run properly and how easy to get their replacement parts.
In the end, i thought of getting 2nd eheim 2217 from fellow hobbyist.
much cheaper and worth it, easy to get spareparts, more silent(?  hmm.gif ),
more reliable and also help other fellow hobbyist to clear their unwanted pre-loved junks  tongue.gif

*
for me i will get the 2nd ehiem , it lasting and save electric bill.

deric:
not all member know how to check canister filter condition. if they accidentally brought a faulty set then it might cost them a bomb to get it fixed.
best if the seller can provide at least 1week warranty period. but i doubt it because most seller dont give warranty for 2nd hand stuffs.

i think its fine to me. i actually move quite a bit of them to the left corner to create a hill

it seems thick because of the inconsistency. i will flaten it back when i do the rescaping

rm200++ is to much for mic filter. better go for eheim..

decided to buy brand new MIC filter this time at the moment since i need to get rid of my topbox filter for my 2ft,
kinda annoying since i have to off it, drain it,
put it somewhere(even though i dont need to clean it) just to clean my tank every few days dont you think? sweat.gif
