all your scape applied the same theme eh..
and can say use the same plants also

I'm using back the same driftwood tongue.gif and also salvaging the same plants from one scape to another tongue.gif , maybe add a few new species but not much.

I like to recreate the same feelings when I look at my scape. And I must have red plants i my scape... Must... drool.gif

I want buy eheim2217, if budget tight, go for 2nd hand ok or not? I worry 2 things, noise and performance (1), warranty expiration soon (2). Or just get new one don't bother much.
*
It depend how much seller is asking for a no-warranty eheim 2217 , for me i won't pay more than RM200 for one without original media as i can
get a brand new one with full media at RM430 with 2yrs warranty.

I thought about it when I saw someone selling it at MAC forum. But I can't decide where to put it, so just keep a simple scape.

I made it... With 3 layers of plastic mesh each in a different orientation, and tie it up with fishing lines.

I think the plastic mesh is a mosquito net, I found it lying around in the storeroom. The holes are smaller then the ones on the green mosquito nets though.

US fissiden is longer, and not compact(current condition in my 2feet tank).
mini fissiden is very compact and very nice when full carpet.

LOL for the Cheap Eheim filter actually depends on how close you are to the
shop owner too... i can get lower price than u guys... haha sorry being selfish, i dont really want share this info out where and who in public... =) because i dont want to spoilt the market price... if not later dont have distributor anymore due to profit margin low...

about the moss better go for singapore moss or star moss.
as for fissident need cold water to make it grow more green.. in my experience i not able to grow fissident well in 28 deg water, maybe some of you can but anyway just my experience
