Well I'm not a wedding videographer...
Sometimes why not try talking to them... after all, you're capturing once in a life time memories on SDs/CFs/SSDs smile.gif I'm sure they'll understand.

Haven't shot weddings. But I shot performances where crowd gathers and I use a tall monopod so I am well above them and recieve minimal blockage. Maybe you might even like having a crowd in your foreground while not blocking your subjects, so being above is nice.

I have seen in weddings a videographer walking the path with the wedding couple to get that close up view. Talk to the couple and see if they want you to be invisible or be close capturing up close.

If you camera is at body level you're bound to get blocked. There's always someone recording on their phone walking around and their so focused on the phone they will not notice you. These people just can't stand still and they are as common as double parkers. Just see it as they are too in the moment to be considerate and won't even pay atention even when you are verbally telling them to stop. Which obviously when you can reach them and tap their shoulders its too late.

Normally, as work in team.. we will hire someone to take care of our crowds and settle the here and there un-official photographer and videomaker. So, from there, they have a good communication rather we self go tell them. It will make them feel uncomfort with us if we direct tell them.., So thats the reason using hired person to take control.. tongue.gif

Original or pirated?

For full application (i.e Adobe Production Premium) i tend to go to piratebay.se
For full application and insane amount of plug-ins i go into cgpersia.com forum
cgpersia is amazing resource for editors, you can get almost any software and plugins you ever think of!

Yes, especially people with the 10" iPad, pretty disturbing.
No problem if you are tall enough.

I'm alternating from FCPX and PR. What I like about PR is the control and fine tuning available. But being lazy as I am, I like to have lots of preset transitions and stuff. So some thats why when feeling lazy I jump to FCPX. @_@

APP is just too complicated for me. So my choice is FCPX. Cause it really quick with so many effects and music available until everyone also use it including TV stations.

Check out my amateur video with FCPX, even timelapse can look like Hyperlapse.

haha nice time lapse.. I got hit by copyright violation when using the same 'sound tracks' you used...

actually its not complicated.. PR... just its too powderful like PS I only use the basic bits of it only.

I think they actually use it to photograph the stars.
astrophotography, is the term i think.
Canon has the 60Da built specially for this feature.

Buy anything with at least 1080p recording that come with superzoom lens coz you definitely do not want to sell your own baby to buy telephoto lens like below or looking as ridiculous as that.
