I'm alternating from FCPX and PR. What I like about PR is the control and fine tuning available. But being lazy as I am, I like to have lots of preset transitions and stuff. So some thats why when feeling lazy I jump to FCPX. @_@

QUOTE(chokia @ May 8 2013, 12:59 PM) APP is just too complicated for me. So my choice is FCPX. Cause it really quick with so many effects and music available until everyone also use it including TV stations. haha nice time lapse.. I got hit by copyright violation when using the same 'sound tracks' you used...Check out my amateur video with FCPX, even timelapse can look like Hyperlapse. actually its not complicated.. PR... just its too powderful like PS I only use the basic bits of it only. This post has been edited by gerald7: May 8 2013, 01:22 PM |

Yesterday I was sort of leaning the 5dmk2 on the video monopod on me while I was unplugging from the walkie talkie mess of a cable and the 5dmk2 slipped. I could only stare as it dropped. As it was at its shortest length (the monopod) I would not be able to catch it without bumping into the car door. Anyways, the camera survived. the monopod had scratches. the RODE videomic shock mount didnt. of the four 'hooks' two of them bent (broken). Anyone know where would one able to find replacements for the plastic mount thingy?
Also, how normally would one transport the rode videomic? its so un-fitting to throw into the camera bag... |

QUOTE(egoness @ Jun 9 2013, 07:59 PM) is it this little rubber that holds that suspend the mic? No not the rubber.. the hooks that the rubber mounts on to.. Yea videomic are hard to transport... Hmmhttp://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/4435...ment_Bands.html I just ordered them through BHphotovideo, Kenz you also have those. Those things are consumables, they would be broken by normal wear and tear anyway. Rode gave some spare rubber in the box. But if you broke the plastic base, im not sure where you can find them. i dont think they sell the base alone. I just put them in the rode box, and carry it around with me, the mic doesnt stand very well to transportation abuse. One of the reason why im thinking to switch to videomic pro, beside videomic pro has smaller dimension. |

for the h4n zoom recorder. whats the main difference between the stamina mode and normal ? and since it can extend battery life from 6 hours to 11 hours, why dont we just leave it at stamina mode always ?

QUOTE(babysmile @ Jul 9 2018, 03:44 PM) @gerald7 1stly thanks for your comments. Didnt know anyone responded Great execution on this video project. Tips may help you on the next shoot - 1) Try to explain to spectator what do you want to deliver between this car, how long he serve you / how you think of this car / what is the attraction you want this car to perform etc 2) some more close up shot ( start the engine , Key ignition , engine details , special modification etc ) You have all the outside footage but nothing for inside. 3) music choice is ok but is the complete version of the music used ? If not going to use full then this video can cut till 1:30 minutes instead to 3:23 minutes 4) add some text animation if feel boring towards footage. 5)0:13 drone intro clip can reverse back to intro towards the car ... Great work indeed ! I guess the problem was I didnt want to ask&answer #1 in the video, as I just wanted to showcase the car, so since no story then the video becomes sort of meaningless to viewers except me. Your right, I was lacking in a lot of close up and "still" footage's. For music, the complete song is over 4mins. By 2mins mark everything was kinda repetitive so cut it down. Still need to learn more for next project. Dont understand #4 & #5 |
