Hi, i'm a very very budget student (lol) and new to videography. Am very interested in producing video, been reading up some cinematography books lately.

anyone know any offer for slider? or some DIY like what lpyycy mentioned?

my gears are Nikon D90. I tested the video function, the exposure they set auto I guess. Don't have manual override. Which is a sad case.

in my case i think i need external mic..or maybe recorder. Any recommendation?

The cheapest and good external mic at the moment would be the Zoom H1.

I'm planning to get the Zoom H2n which is few 100s more but still quite affordable.

You can judge by these youtube vids. It should better since youtube quality are compressed.

Bought already. Now waiting for its to arrive at my doorsteps.
Will do a review of it.

But it doesnt have the color correction etc. I dont really need any special effects for now. Just want to smoothen and beautify the videos that I captured.

The wonders of stabilizers eh ocz. I saw ppl charging alot for their "shaky" wedding videos. A sad sad truth.

My mistake, should use the word "support". Hehe. I saw a shaky vid of akad from a local videographer. Very unprofessional.

One question though, all of your vids seemed to be dark, is that your style?
