I mainly covers wedding, and sometimes into ads or montage. |

To post youtube vids, for example with random youtube video;By the way, i am using the Sony Vegas Pro 10. It's editing is simple, but yet superb in effects. I mainly covers wedding, and sometimes into ads or montage. Press Youtube button then 6ILZAYa-R38 and press the Youtube button again to complete. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ILZAYa-R38 See the 6ILZAYa-R38 from the Youtube link? Put that in between the two Youtube tags. Sony Vegas Pro 10? You bought it or ahem? LOL. It costs US$599.95. Sigh. Just downloaded the Adobe Premiere Elements 10 trial. Havent had the time to play with it just yet. Received my Hague Mini-Motion Cam stabilizer this afternoon. Also didnt get enough time to properly set it up. Away from home right now. Will try the Premiere Elements and Hague MMC tomorrow morning. Added on May 15, 2012, 11:15 am QUOTE(goldfries @ May 10 2012, 09:41 AM) travel photos - zoom lens with IS, and practice steady holding. Say goldfries, I'm sure you're familiar with Lumix GF3. Its my only camera now.anyway peeps, no need think so much about sliders and stabilizers first. even a tripod alone can work wonders if you know how to plan your video. I'll be doing a travel videos in the near future. Whats the suitable zoom lens IS for GF3? I only got the 14-42mm kitlens and 14mm prime lens. Issit OK? And I just bought a stabilizer. So far so good. In case you're wondering on what type of travel videos am I heading, here's the example: Thanks! This post has been edited by EightPhantomz: May 15 2012, 11:15 AM |

Tried Adobe Premiere Elements and Cyberlink PowerDirector; I'm liking the latter... so I just removed the Premiere Elements. I might try Sony Vegas. Loads of Americans that I know are using it. But it doesnt fair well compared to Cyberlink etc. I wonder. ocz is using Sony Vegas, maybe can review a bit. In case, you want free softwares, I tried almost all from google search, didnt find anything interesting. Sigh. |

Even for people who owned the high end NLE won't necessary produce an interesting footage. It boils down to contents. First thing, are you using a DSLR or an HD camcorder. Once you are familiar with the interface, you can then start using creativity. There are many inexpensive NLE that may fit your budget. Second thing to look for is what is the output format of your choice, i.e., youtube/vimeo or DVD/Bluray. |

I'm using Cyberlink PowerDirector 10. Loving it!
Anyway, the best is to test them yourself. Most of it give trial versions to try. But do bear in mind, trial version normally have limitations. I almost ditch PowerDirector during trial becoz all my videos were distorted until I read in the forum about it. Since I'm comfortable using it, I went ahead to buy the full version. It was worth it! DO test those in your list. |

All the Pro versions prices are "awesomely" expensive. Unless you're professionals then its ok lah. No doubt they're good for its purpose.
For beginners, its better to start with lower end versions. Like;- Adobe Premiere Elements -> Premiere Pro Sony Vegas Movie Studio -> Vegas Pro Etc... Can try the powerful Lightworks http://www.lightworksbeta.com/ Got free and subscription based. Tried it but its just too hard for my noob head. Its for serious filmmakers lah. |
