Ok, no arguments. Just to point out it's a fact. Samsung/Android is a deadly phone hanging combo.
But i'll still rather have it than ifong..LOL.

You didn't dig the deep long enough. You'll find enough i9100 users complaining hang issues oif you dig deeper or do
a more finer filter.

Just let it be. The most important thing is you satisfied with the phone yourself. And the phone should atleast meet 80% of your daily requirement/needs. What others say good doesn't mean it must be also good for you. And vice versa  :-))
*
Actually, SGS2 meets all my requirements...seriously...except the hanging part.

QUOTE(Matrix @ May 7 2012, 03:58 PM)
Try installing 200 apps to your PC. Your boot up lag like turtle no matter how fast yoru machine...tongue.gif

Yes, i agree S2 is a bit faster in general UI usage...but it's not really something to shout about....

And the reason the SGS Plus is inferior to the SGS2....Andreno 205 (inferior GPU) and 512MB RAM vs 1GB, rather than the number of cores.
*
We're talking about usage, not boot up time. If I slap 200 apps into my comp, once all is booted up, I'm sure I'll do just fine tongue.gif
But back to topic, my phone (after some recent small cleaning of apps I didn't want), has 181 user apps. Slap in system stuff and you have over 200 apps in the phone. Runs fine. Fortunately phone apps are alot simpler and light, so boots up pretty fast too laugh.gif

Well yea, nothing to shout about, in the sense you can live without it. Of course you can. Most single core 1ghz phones are good enough to use. Just saying it helps if you want the speed.

Aiyohh..hanging issue lagi. You go ask in S2 thread how many of them got hanging issue. 90% will say none while another 10% will say they got issue and nearly all of that 10% either got faulty set or using crack apps.

anyway, just joking only about the s beam stuff.

yea, i dont really care what other ppl wanna think about s3. I know what I want, and it has everything i want. including the wolfson DAC.. drool.gif drool.gif that's what i wished for to included in s3. sadly no SAMOLED+, which is part of my wish, but no big deal.

if samsung ask me to choose between SAMOLED+ and Wolfson DAC. it will be Wolfson DAC anytime. cool2.gif

s3 gonna rock flex.gif

yes but that is application controlled. the feature in s3 is built into the OS.

for example at the moment when the screen is about to dim, instead of dimming, it turns on the camera for a brief moment to see if u eyes are looking at the phone. if yes then don't dim. if eyes are not looking, then dim. continue to monitor the eyes for a brief moment before turning off the screen if still not looking then off the screen.

there u go, the pseudo code. open source free to distribute tanpa was was
i don't think the smart stay uses lot of battery.
*
Another point is, the front camera on but no preview on the screen. Battery drain issue because camera app use screen to preview the image. Remember our fist digital camera with dual view finder, one is the normal view finder and the second one is the digital view finder. If more we use digital view finder, battery will drain more fast.

when apps hang, do not blame the phone except for obvious manufacturing defects.
its the android app system. there are tons of apps inside and mostly are free.

quality control is very less so badly written code are in abundance.
this is a natural thg, bcos talented programmers still need to earn a living.

not sure if anyone posted before as i recall nobody posted.

some comparison in detail into things that ppl often overlook when comparing HOX vs S3

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...ource=pulsenews

a few key points to take note will be the camera sensor, audio chip, video capability, the 128-bit GPU bandwidth, sensors
