Just finally read all about amoled + ppI technology explanation.

Finished read about the Chinese forum. Basically the same thing and idea I had in mind. But I salute that guy for writing wall of text with math equation to support it.

on the contrary, if u work a lot with photos, somehow the hd amoled feels and looks much lacking in image quality compared to the retina and also super amoled+.

but if text black&white, no difference indeed.

Haha that's actually quite the idea, might help with the whole oversized phone thing

imo, ipong thin enuf edi. samsung should have made as thin as that and put a side speaker. who cares if ppl say they tiru blablabla. At least the end result is gonna be better than speaker near camera
unless the loudspeaker super duper loud la, then I got no qualms

yep , the dimension will become smaller and screen bigger . so that no ppl will complaint about too huge .

You sir, never read anything about Apple suing Samsung 3 or 4 times in a year!

beg to differ. s2 material may look cheap but check any review they wud approve the s2 is tough and can withstand pretty much roughness than it appears to be.

i wud probably say s2 chassis is stronger n more durable than s3. but i sure finger cross that the s3 has a equally good chassis albeit being in a different way.

im not sure about htc software support but , the samsung unofficial updates update like hamsters multiplying babies...and custom roms like club mushrooming in kl or kk area...

i bet no official update can match that. therefore, my different opinion.

if they sue because of speaker placement, its worse than absurd ready. then why dont they sue every phone manufacturer for having a camera on the back of the phone?

y not? apple sues anything they can think of included home button placement, rectangular shape with rounded edges and big screen, swipe to unlock, application menu bar etc etc.

i wont be surprise if they decided to sue on speaker placement, because that's what happened to SGT 10.1N where it has to alter the exterior design to suit the judge's and apple's needs.

we've not doubted the durability of the s2 casing. but it FEELS cheap plastic.
not a premium feel for a premium price.

the only reason why 3rd party developers love samsung is bcos
a) the original software (tw) sucks, needs tons of improvement, which i feel samseng does it deliberately.
b) hardware (chips/ram/graphics proc) is good.
