s3 using Wolfson Micro WM1811 sound chip..support sdxc card and the only smartphone which support exfat..times to upgrade..XD
*
that's really good, better than the yamaha on s2

audio wise, the only good thing about one x is beats (preference) and apt-X codec (not sure whether s3 have this ? )

are u sure?so far as i know only one s come with s4 proc but u can't compare side by side with s3 as they have different screen resolution..higher resolution need more "power" to push it..
*
they compared it with the US version of one x. its also using snapdragon s4

why I want the S3,  because it offers MORE than what HTC One X could offer. I got a friend who bought one, not even close to 3 day, his phone won't even start, now he want to claim a replacement. Poor him  whistling.gif
*
i bet when s3 release, some users gonna experience that as well tongue.gif

my point is, no phone makers will be perfect for the first batch

Come on guys don't like the phone then don't post it here? it's like they're trying to prove HTC one X is better?? butthurt or what? let's just keep this thread clean. Stop bashing about it. Get a life?
*
whr got bashing? bashing and giving opinions is different. some people ask one x or s3 is better, we just give honest opinion

you try use sand or diamond scratch, see scratch proof or not  sweat.gif

if gorilla glass can sustain scratches from diamond, then I would say that its scratch proof(since I think there wouldn't be much normal goods that can scratch it, exclude those specially made ones in the lab)
*
i mean scratch proof as in daily usage sweat.gif

no, its my mistake.  sweat.gif  Because the manufacturer of gorilla glass said that all phones in april - may will have gorilla glass 2 so I thought one x has it too(since it was released on april)

you are correct actually, gsmarena have the wrong info

QUOTE(wayfeel @ May 5 2012, 04:02 AM)
so many arguments about s3 vs xxx model...

but guess what...

s3 has wireless charging and smart stay eye tracking...

anyone else in the market has nothing close to offer

just these two alone...

...pawns all.

Added on May 5, 2012, 4:11 am
actually it's a no-brainer discussion but a valid point in a illogical discussion.

let me illustrate my point.

s2 the king of "plastic", sold by more than 20 million units that single handedly almost can rival iphone's sales figure...some even say the shipped unit figures r undocumented, not sure.

how much the "metal chassis" sensation sold for??

nobody cared...

so who wants to start another "htc case is better than s3" again?

sorry ,abit drunk now. apology if my argument doesnt make senseĀ  rofl...

Added on May 5, 2012, 4:16 am
uhmm...im just flexing my brain muscle...

not even breaking a sweat ...

figures and achievements ,track record, speak all.

what else is needed?

im just gracing the bashers to the hall of shame...
*
there's no bashing if you read the few post back. we're just giving opinions and comparisons based on facts

many people need to realize the difference between bashing and giving opinions.

so what if people ask " s3 vs xxx phone which better? ". you can't just say "s3 is the best", or "s3 pwns all" bla bla bla. u need to state the pros and cons of each, there's no perfect phone in this world

fanboys and bashers amongst android....i really can't brain you guys. android supposed to be a big family

if you're bashing about fruit brand or other OS then i will keep quiet tongue.gif

unable to accept facts regarding cons = fanboy

stressing on the cons without looking at the pros = bashers

from the benchmarks it seems exynos 4412 is still struggling to keep up with snapdragon s4. A15 architecture and 28nm does make a difference

wonder what could samsung pull off with their exynos 5

You are quite drink indeed. NFC was brought in from Nexus S.

As for wireless charging, I think it was an addon thing into the phone. During MWC 2012, it was demo on Galaxy S phone. Unless the wireless charging module already built-in into S3. Wait and see.

QUOTE(tashfinsheikh @ May 5 2012, 11:02 AM)
iPhone had Wireless Charging for more than a year now

It's not a new feature,

http://powermat.com/
*
proves many people never seen or heard of this wireless charging tech. until samsung revealed it 2 days ago sweat.gif

its nothing new seriously. existed way back to the days of palm pre
