Limited lifetime warranty =/= Lifetime warranty. I believe the correct term is Limited lifetime. Lifetime warranty is as long as u own the product. Most Pc parts have limited lifetime/years warranty. (until the product is no longer in the market or not supported)

Limited lifetime warranty is the warranty if the product has been discontinue.

My beloved preve has just been admitted to SC at 4pm.  cry.gif

Luckily the proton care responsed to me on labour day. Calling my SA was hopeless and said cannot help me.

The proton mechanic came and upon checking said need to send to SC. The Engine sign was ON at all times and the car jerks all the way.

He said they will remap the ECU and do some testing tomorrow.

Hope my beloved preve will be fine tomorrow. sweat.gif

Whats the suspected cause? Why early batch proton always like this..

I think the owner should report to TS of their car problems after deliver. Easy to compile if issue is isolated or QC problem still not resolved.

Hmmm ... I don't see the advertised 5 years or 150,000KM that is largely reported by the media. What's the catch?

wtf engine and GB not 5 years? part of reason i bought is becos of 5 year warranty and confirmed by SA include engine and GB!!! after i see got terms and conditions, i tried to ask here and fellow buyers also no idea.. now it is out engine and GB only 3 years??
i think this is bordering on cheating by Proton!!! what is 5 years?? window tint??? my wife Myvi raytech cheaplak security tint also 7 years warranty!!!
WTF is this??? Proton??!!!

im quite disappointed if its true GB and Engine only 3 years warranty. i dont feel very good about it as i thought it will be 5 years as told by my SA when i book it today.

and we all know this is the first time cvt is used for turbo engine by proton. so 5 years warranty is really the turning point why i choose preve today. anything bad can happen between those 3 to 5 years as car is getting older.

i really dont like to get cheated. mat please confirm on this. thanks.
