Ok guys, finally got time to post here. Been washing and waxing it.
Bout the manual nothing much la just like any other manual book, but the warranty there are few items that didn't fully cover for 5 years, maybe i'll list it out tomorrow. There are some paint spot, I suspect is prolong sitting in open air causing it, gonna need claybar and good polish to remove it. Bout the gear light, it has but very dim. TC button is ok for mine. Give you guys some pikcha ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Guess that solve the problem now. Btw we're missing temperature detector for outside weather. I think it's for Aussie specs This post has been edited by Junn: May 1 2012, 02:57 PM |

QUOTE(maverickng @ May 1 2012, 04:13 PM) Paint you want 5 years? Dream on. It's consider wear and tear unless there is corrosion, that one also you need to send to inspect every year by authorized SC to eligible for claim Added on May 1, 2012, 4:20 pm QUOTE(FrostLance @ May 1 2012, 04:15 PM) 5 years for major parts... power windows i tot proton all lifetime warranty lol.. only applicable for older models i guess.. power windows would not be an issue in the preve anymore i think It's 120 months, 10 years, based on proton calculation of lifetime. Not human lifetime, car lifetime. Lots of ppl confuse bout this Anyway, I discovered something today, there's a lane changing signal in Preve, very kewl This post has been edited by Junn: May 1 2012, 04:21 PM |

QUOTE(dares @ May 1 2012, 04:22 PM) It's not specifically covered in black and white, but you can still complain. I have complaint to COE and other SCs about creaks and rattles in my car, they are happy to obliged. Friend with exora told me it depends on which SC you go, not all can solve the rattle and noise issue, normally the big boys can but need to leave your car for few days, take our dashboard and investigate. But whether they have the skills to permanently solve the sounds, that is a different questions. |

QUOTE(dares @ May 1 2012, 04:29 PM) On purpose wan la. Why don't just state as it is, 10 years warranty is impressive enough for most ppl. Biasa la, marketing gimmick ma, sounds more impressive wah lifetime wo, means I long gone ady, window still can be covered BUT NO, said the marketing dept, MUST USE "LIFETIME WARRANTY"!! To confused ppl who didn't read T&C QUOTE(FrostLance @ May 1 2012, 04:29 PM) Still a cheap gimmick using the term "Lifetime". I don't think they advertise this on UK proton website.U cant do this in the US or any EU countries tho, proton will get sued kaw kaw |
