Hi all , need help here ....

I applied Streamyx on 25th February , and registration success on 27th Feb . And then I received my Streamyx All-In-Box package on 3rd March , then I tried to set up connection , but I failed .

1st : In Network Connection in Control Panel , I set up a Broadband dial up , with correct username and passport , but fail to connect .
2nd : I ran the Streamyx Installer 3.0 CD in my laptop , everything went smooth but it then stopped at step 4 saying that fail to build up a dialer , with a error code S04E01 .

I can sure that all cables ( RJ11 & RJ45 ) is connected correctly , the DSL light is on and not blinking .

Anyone can help ?

How do u create broadband dial up actually, can u tell us ur step ?

Pls do remember to enable ur lan connection at My Network Places>View Network Connection> Lan Area Connection

hi there.I'm using RM77 512 pakage last time,speedtest showed Download bout 489, upload forgotten haha, n then switch to combo RM90 remain 512 last month,and also change my modem to TP-Link 108M wireless ADSL@+router,my desktop is connected to router using the cable,then juz now i test my speed at speedtest.net is as below:



gosh!what am i goin to do????is it something to do with the router??please help~

Dear all , need help again .....
My laptop can dialup the Streamyx to surf internet in my house , but my wife's laptop can not dial up , although once successfully dial-up , still can not access any web page . Mine is using Win XP , my wife is using Win XP Pro . I have checked the Streamyx connection setting for both laptops is same .
Anyone knows how to solve this problem ?

Pls use PPPoE mode, not brigde mode. I already PM u.

Guys...juz got my Streamyx Combo RM90 package....the speed should be at 512k right????

Whenever I access the modem homepage this is what it shows at the DOWN speed section




Is the normal speed or am I being capped wrongly by TM?????

Actually that is up to 4092Kbps. That's mean this modem support up to 4092Kbps.

u wrong dude...its mean ur house line can support 4mb streamyx....example:my house only can support 2mb..that all...its nothing wrong with ur speed..if u want to check ur speed..go here

errm... i wanna ask about streamyx package. what will happen if i terminate the contract before 1 year?

i still have 1 month to go b4 reaching 1 year but i have to terminate the contract as i am moving away to another room/house.

i've checked the tmnut website, it say i'll be charge by a certain amount but what is the amount?

Hi all, would like to ask about the speed capping..

The case:
I just moved into a rented house, and I'm thinking of applying for the RM60 384kbps combo package due to lesser usage as most of my time were spent in the office. But instead, oftenly i would like to use the other streamyx account that i'm using at my hometown (which is 1mbps package).

The question:
The internet speed at my rented house will follow the 1mbps account or will be capped at 384kbps upon my subscription to that package?

When I access the website it asked for a username and password. But I still can't access even after entering my username and password ! What's wrong ?

Any one can help me....
I already go TM point for upgrade my RM66 line to RM88 line....
But was a;ready few day,it doesnt have any change??
what problem for it??

what do u mean by it doesnt have any change.
After checking, ur upgrade is done so ur speed should be upgraded to 1M ord.

not like that...i using the online speedtest to check ,most of them already test my line only get nearest 512 MB doload and 256 upload speed.....
the services person in tm point said that need use 4 days for done it....but from 18 MAR to now ,already got 12 days.....

that is ok.... for me, upgrading took exactly 2 months.... from 18 dec to 18 feb.... s time go to tmpoint, at first dont know what prob... second time, they say they cannot log in to the system(WTF~~~) and also said it becoz to many people apply streamyx(wondering true or not...)

What happen ?

i have been informed by their people that website having problem..
just use jaring speedtest...
