Hi. I'm using Streamyx 384k for 10hrs package. But when I checked in the modem page(my modem is ADSL2MUE), it shows my download/upload speed as 1024/512k. Here's d proof:(Pic attached)

I did speed test at an overseas site(forget the name of website) n got 355kbps. Is it my lucky day or what?

NOTE: I just started using it for 4 days n first day my dwnl/upld was 800/sumthing n other 3 days was 1024/512.......

Im paying RM88 for 1024/512 package im staying in puchong... This is my line info from my modem... my speed used to be normal last year...

the 1st month i get about -100kbps...
I complaint continuously for 4 freaking long months and THEY JuST CLOSE THE REPORT WITHOUT COMFIRMING WHETHER THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED...
i know the cause of this problem it is caused by too many streamyx users in puchong and the server's limit is reached... because that day whole puchong area streamyx got disconnected then i was the 1st 1 to connect i tested the speed and got around 800-890kbps...

How long does it take to upgrade an account? in May i tried to upgrade from Basic 512k RM88 - Free Modem Promotion to Streamyx Basic 1.0M (Without Modem) - RM88. when i check the online reistration, it's still in "aplication is being processed.

Mine also the same. The upgrade took about 4-5 days. Even if it shows "application is being processed" doesn't mean it is! I bet if I check mine, it would still show "application is being processed".

Is your line speed still the same? i.e. speedometer check.

By the way, I am using my RM88 package for about 1 month now.

I have 3 streamyx account. One in my parents house, one in office and another one at home. All is using 1mb line. I tested on tmnet speedometer and the dl and ul speed is fine but one thing I aware is the respond. Office and parents house no lag but my house streamyx lag.

For example, once we enter tmnet speed test page, it will prompt to select server, package and measurement type. Then u click START TEST and u reach to another page with speedometer and GO button.

At home, everytime I press Go button, it will lag and begin to load only after 10-20seconds. My office and parents house is different. Once I click Go button, it will lauch and load immediately or maybe lag for 1-2seconds.

Anyone have idea what is going on with this? I believe when I surf the net sometimes, the lagging is the one that drag more time.

Yesterday, the mail server is not responding as well. Anyone facing this problem as well???

Hope to have some opinion or advise here.

try to update java..

what's your rig spec?

My comp specs is P41.6, 512mb sdram, intel board, 2 40gb hdd, nviadia mx440 build in sound, realtek nic, lg dvd rw, tdk cdrw.

My house is paying RM88 each month, today i logged into the modem and i found out that my connection is 512/256, can anyone advice me what should i do?

go to tmnet/tmpoint, and fill out the upgrade form.


call the technician, because this is the so called MISCAPPED.

Last time i saw someone created a topic regarding this, go complaint and get some fees waived, is it true?

yes it is. normally by default all account set to 512/256kbps. this is what i know from my experience working with them.

what you should do is; printscreen the speed (with full screen; including start menu, clock, etc) and make rant with them.

keep calling them... until they fade-up with you and they can remember your voice and name very well.

keep sending email to them, including send email to newspaper and keep rant and rant.

if you have more time, you can cut the newspaper, scan it, then send it as attachment to their rant email.

and i hope, you will get the rebate ASAP.

Suddenly, it was their careless to caped customer's speed within 3days account actived. Or... they stoled your speed and give to their KRONI.

This is the internel conflict.

Well,just now I was trying to upgrade to streamyx RM88-1 Meg package from RM44 package by online registration,but the system said application processed with error.But when I go to check my application status,the system said my new package is the RM88 one.Is that means I will be using the RM88 package next month?

maybe someone can hack the modem/router (user's owned not TMnut ah..) and adjust the limit of the speed perhaps?my router DLINK is using BusyBox n i dunno ho to configure it..anyone?
