Try to do it again. If not mayb ir hardware problem.

I want to unjailbreak my phone to upgrade my IOS. But i have tried and i have this error 3194. I tried you tubing it and it still doesnt work! Any one can help me? Or is there any thread regarding bout this? Thanks!

Check your host file. Remove or put a hash (#) in front of any line that says gs.apple.com

error 3194 occurs when u're trying to restore your iphone to a firmware that Apple is no longer signing. E.g. apple currently is signing for iOS 6, if u're trying to restore to iOs 5.X or lower, u will get this error.

wat other methods u tried? and wat iOS u wanna restore to?

sorry..im newbie here..plannnig to get i5 android user now..

what is jailbreak basically?? it means we can get apps free or what..??sorry really know nothing about os..huhu...

i hv a 4s 5.1.1. jailbroken using absinthe. now i want to upgrade ios6. i have also backup/sync my JB apps to itunes.
now what next should do to upgrade ios?

first thing to do is save 5.1.1 shsh , so can restore to 5.1.1 if u dont like ios6 . download ios 6 HERE , launch itunes , press shift and restore . choose firmware tat you download

cydia shows shsh6.0.1,, how to make cydia save my 5.1.1? i use TU but could not as i prefer to save it locally in my pc.

if u have 5.1.1 in your ipon now, u can extract it using iFaith.

If I use iFaith to extract my current firmware 5.1.1 and upgrade to iOS6.

Don't like iOS6 and want to downgrade to 5.1.1 but Cydia shows shsh 6.0.1., can i still go back to 5.1.1?

That means you have no 5.1.1 blobs saved. So you cannot downgrade. iFaith does not work with A5 chips so you cannot use it with the 4s so basically, you are stuck with 6.0.1
