[quote=MyKy44,Nov 28 2012, 10:45 AM]if u have 5.1.1 in your ipon now, u can extract it using iFaith.
If I use iFaith to extract my current firmware 5.1.1 and upgrade to iOS6. Don't like iOS6 and want to downgrade to 5.1.1 but Cydia shows shsh 6.0.1., can i still go back to 5.1.1? This post has been edited by spacepilot: Nov 28 2012, 11:28 AM |

QUOTE(azraeil @ Nov 28 2012, 12:28 PM) That means you have no 5.1.1 blobs saved. So you cannot downgrade. iFaith does not work with A5 chips so you cannot use it with the 4s so basically, you are stuck with 6.0.1 Added on November 28, 2012, 12:32 pmI've added a link to iClarified Jailbreak (Jailbreak/Downgrade/Re-Restore) to the first page. Sorry for not being active as much lately, I am currently eyeing to moving to Windows Phone Added on November 28, 2012, 3:15 pm QUOTE(fik92 @ Nov 28 2012, 01:19 PM) Still able to save shsh for 5.1.1 now?This post has been edited by spacepilot: Nov 28 2012, 03:15 PM |

QUOTE(fik92 @ Nov 28 2012, 01:19 PM) I tried using this and after entering DFU mode, prompted message on PC says only support for A4 chip.I used the latest 9.15b3 but still cannot save shsh for my 4s. QUOTE(azraeil @ Feb 2 2013, 02:46 PM) No need. Just download the correct firmware and then use Shift + Restore (PC) or Option + Restore (Mac), a window will open for you to select the downloaded firmware and iTunes will do the rest. Thanks for pointing out.DFU modes are usually for jailbreaking and most jailbreaking method now has not been using DFU mode for a while. If u use restore the whole phone will be wiped clean regardless of JBreak or non, is this right? Is this consider a fresh update? This post has been edited by spacepilot: Feb 2 2013, 11:44 PM |

QUOTE(azraeil @ Feb 3 2013, 01:37 PM) Yes, if you do a Shift + restore, no matter if your iPhone is currently jailbroken, it will wiped the iPhone clean (something like a fresh format) and install the firmware file you download. Great!! I'll wait for 6.1 JB TOOL release first. But, wait. Why do we need 6.1 if I'm on 5.1.1 now. .... I wonder. |
