Review

A tower defense game where your main mission is to destroy your opponent's base. What makes this different is that this game have 3 lanes (as oppose to your normal tower defense game) down, middle and up (up is only for flying units). Starting the game, you will have a choice of 3 different races ( Human, Buster's and Elves) so u can expect a lot of replayability in this game. U will also get to control your main commander in the battelefield, they can attack, cast spells and also buff/debuff your enemies. The commander also only have one life so if you get your commander is killed he/she wont respawn, do take note that your commander will heal themselves if u return them to base with a simple button press. U will also be able to choose to upgrade your commander to whichever fit your gameplay. You will have a lot of different types of army in your disposable, and each of them are unique and can be combined to create a different new unit or powered up unit. There's also in game purchase where u can buy Gamevil coins that u can use to buy special units or use them to upgrade your units or commander. All in all, the graphics are crisp and animations are nice plus with 3 different races to choose and different types of play, this is a must get for fans of tower defense game

Game Review

An angry bird clone, but with a twist, instead of flipping your birds to the other side, u will be in control of a princess where u will need to adjust your trajectory and kick your minions (yes, kick) to the other side to fight the monsters scattered around the stages. Different types of minions will be able to use different types of skill (ranging from fighters/archers/mages etc). In order to use those skill, u will need to tap of the screen whenever your minion is flying across the screen. Perfect timing and usage of the skill is required in order for you to defeat your enemies easily. Some stages will also have special bosses where u need to hit their weakness in a specific place in order for u to defeat them. Your minions will also be able to equip different types of weapon where each weapon is unique and have their own types of skill. A rather enjoyable game with funny cartoon graphics and tight controls. The game is also available fully in English

my objective is to promote development for mobile games on android, so in particular i'm looking for indie games. not big names. so stuff like money sucking gameloft are definitely out. I'm trying to support the developers by giving them free publicity. since google seems to only be showing those already big companies like EA and Gameloft.

I've already been approached by a few devs and are playing their games to write reviews for them
*
i can do Avatar Fight. need a few days to get the appropriate screenshots and write up.

Destroy Gunners is nice too. you should try it out... Imaginary Range is unique and different -- It's by Square Enix. Then there's My Paper Plan.

You just can't take this game seriously. But then you were never meant to. With foul language and l33t speech and hilarious character conversations, giving this game a go is a no brainer, particularly since its FREE! I do have some issues with the gameplay. First off, It's not really a tactical TBS game. It really isn't. Sure, you move characters across squares, take turns, but this phase does absolutely nothing in terms of strategy. There is no terrain bonus. There is no directional facing. Nothing. It would appear that this it is merely used to facilitate the narrative storyline. When you attack or get attacked, then some strategic elements appear. You get to organise formation of your troops, give them orders, ask them to flank etc, and then you click "execute" and pray your strategy works. You get to purchase items in between maps to enhance the capabilities of some of your units. There is no recruiting here, all characters are handed to you. The entire concept holds promise. But unfortunately fall just short. When you have a game with non too spectatcular graphics, you really need to have awesome gameplay to make up for it. I'd like to see the Dev take this game concept and really pour more heart and soul into the gameplay, and maybe polish up the graphics a bit. The crazy trash talking and humour narratives are nice, but when you want to stand out from competition, it just isn't enough. None the less, the game is 'okay'. And since its free, there really is no harm trying it out.

They are quite a few RPG games out there on playstore, especially the current favourite Zenonia 4. However one would hardly call it Diablo-esque. While Diablo itself is also an action RPG game, it just isn't quite the same when translated into anime-like fast hack and slash. Bring in Legends Arcana, a dungeon crawler that is significantly slower paced than most rpg dungeon crawlers out there. Graphics are simple, while not anime like, certainly colourful. There is no mana, and HP refills itself automatically. Skills and stats points are allocated as you wish when you level up, and skills have cool down periods instead of using mana. There are also item drops and shops where you can buy and sell items. It also has pretty well coloured comic style cut scenes that are pretty well scripted too.

If there is anything that irked me was the lack of "umph" factor when attacking enemies. What is this umph factor? Well, there needs to be some sort of satisfaction when killing enemies. And it all comes down to appropriate sound effects. Games can still have sound effects but if not done properly, merely give u that meh feeling when killing mobs. While well done sound effects gets your blood pumping, adrenaline flowing, and a greater desire to shed more blood!

Additionally movement is intentionally made slow and jerky. Sorta like watching a frame by frame movement. This, you'll either love it or hate.

The game has a paid and free verson, and according to the descriptions, the free version has ads. However being on a custom rom, perhaps due to some ad blocker, i saw no such ads. Or perhaps the dev have totally removed the ads. Not too sure. But since there is a free version, definitely give this game a shot. If you hate it, uninstall, if you love it, play it, if you love it but hate the ads, buy the devs a cup of coffee (actually a cup of coffee is more expensive than this lol) and buy the game!

Happy dungeon crawling!

TEMPLAR ASSAULT (WARHAMMER 40k SPACE HULK FOR ANDROID)

FOR THE EMPEROR! I mean, for the House of Thulun! Fans of Warhammer 40k will instantly fall in love with the adaptation and IMPROVEMENT to Warhammer 40k's Space Hulk. The gameplay is similar, with you being in charge of a squad of elite genetically superior advanced armoured warriors. Using chainswords, powerfists, and more modern guns, you have to battle your way through unlimited spawning hordes or chittering alien scum in order to achieve certain objectives. You only have limited ammo, so don't tarry and take your time as you'll soon find yourself resorting to your trusty power sword to cut a swathe through your enemies. Any men you lose in a mission stays dead. A campaign may have several missions, and if you lose a man, that man remains dead. The game has a lot of strategy in it as you fight to cover the flanks and making sure you don't get surrounded. But Trese Brothers (the devs) have put an RPG spin on it as well! Your brother captain and his warriors can level up and concentrate on specific skills. Additionally you can buy new equipment and armor for your brother warriors.

A must have for Space Hulk fans, fans of grueling turn based strategy will also want to give this a try. There is a free version in addition to the paid version.

The game is (even at this advanced stage) considered beta by the developers, so you can expect massive updates coming your way.

Crash Course 3D is a 3D android game which is very interesting. This game is like fighting with asteroids around a planet. This really entertains you very much . This is an optimized version of armv6 devices(low end devices) and actually available in GOOGLE PLAY for high end devices.

At first glance, Swords and Soldiers looks like a kids game, and after you play the first few missions, you’ll probably still be thinking as much. However, the more you delve into the game, the less you think like this. This is a game you can boot up to play for a couple of minutes, but I played it for 2 hours solid and that’s the best thing about it. You can get hopelessly lost in challenge modes or the campaign, despite it having one of the most preposterous stories, another reason why people may think that this might be kids game.
