same here, i had root and CWM, then apply the update notication, its failed, pull batt and reboot, now didnt receive the notification as well......

anyone flashing from non-yakju to yakju notice that the notification LED no longer working?

mine LED stop working....

when i was on yakjuxe, when received whatsapp mesg i will get a red flashing led. but now on stock it doesnt work anymore.

folks , i am a newbie of nexus , yesterday i change my live wallpaper and all of sudden it reboot the mobile itself... is this common problem for u all? sorry i sitll new to android

Previously when on non-yakju rom, not using LightFlow; the LED also works for me

Now on yakju rom, need to use LightFlow to get LED work; but I would preferably not using LightFlow; as it is a 3rd party app anyway, worry it will drain battery unnnecessarily.

File addition is fine (rooting pushes 2 files only), file removal/replacement will break OTA.

You can try the Gnex Toolkit for ease of use. It has an option to restore stock recovery.

You may install CWM after OTA update but if you do so, OTA will fail again in the future. Unless you use CWM regularly, just use Gnex toolkit to 'tether' boot to CWM recovery.

Thanks for answering, previously I use CWM is just wan to do a backup. So it is fine to OTA with stock rom rooted and unlocked but CWM must be stock?

i think...stock without app wouldnt give u red led light..perhaps did u installed any app that control the led?

You're right. I experimented with mine already. You will lose root if you update via OTA, but you can easily reroot again using Gnex toolkit.

you are allow to configure the LED light color in chat msg and group msg under whats app setting...

just got new unit last Saturday . my unit is yakjuxw 4.0.2.
I can't get any new update sad.gif

tats also why i did the massive out of reason testing of all the avaliable baseband and walk around the city switching between them(not to mention trying not to bump pple) xxkk6 still works best for my side of the world
